Another fantastic meal here, fantastic service and wonderful atmosphere. I had rump steak, always cooked to perfection followed by sticky toffee pudding with custard. My favourite place to eat locally.
Very good food and service. Staff very friendly and keen to give you a good experience. Been twice food excellent each time. Looking forward to going again in the future.
It was quite busy but they managed to squeeze me and my partner in. He had the mixed grill, I had a gammon steak. We are still taken back by how delicious it was! The portions were huge, which we loved. Sadly we didn't have room for dessert but we WILL be back in the near future. The owner was funny
Great food and friendly staff. Perfect location near to M4 for meeting up from different directions and good size car park. Reasonable selection of real ales and other drinks but a wider selection of ales would be nice
Food was hot, huge portions. It was busy for a Tuesday but pre ordered and food bought out to 6 of us in a timely manner. Would definitely dine here again.
They accommodated us for my sons surprise 21st birthday meal. Can not fault anything. Pre order food order was spot on and all the staff were helpful. Thank you.
I visited The New Inn today and last night. Was looking for a place that serves great food and I definitely wasn't disappointed. Last night I hadn't booked but they made room for me so thanks for that guys. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I had the steak and real ale pie and it was s
Traditional country pub serving a good range of food and drink. There's a Vegan menu too (still hard to find in most pubs), and prompted our visit. Portion sizes are generous and are quickly served with a smile. Highly recommend!
Excellent Food, Good Service. Would go again
We randomly stopped here for dinner on weekday evening. Great menu with lots of homemade foods and a selection of ale and cider. There is a great park outside for kids to play. Staff were very helpful and made us all feel welcome. Highly recommend
Fab food, great portion size.. Lovely atmosphere and really good play area for children. Would recommend.
After numerous people saying how good the place is we finally made the effort & went.I had a mixed grill & the wife had chicken with a cheese sauce. Both were beautifully cooked & the portions were huge. Many thanks we shall 100% be back.
Very good food, large portions, and friendly service. Prices reflect all of this but very good value. Always a warm welcome and we leave very happy. Great experience
Lovely place. Meal For 15 for a birthday and food was lovely and was all served to us all within a few Minutes. Great services. Xx
Birthday family get together! We visited this great place on Sunday 21st May. There were 10 of us, the food was brilliant several of us had the Sunday roast this did not disappoint! After our meal we went out into the pub garden so the children of the family could let off some steam.
The is a very good 'pub that does food'. No gastro signs here or retro refit or bland copycat shabby chic here. Traditional 20th century pub that serves very good food (with generous portion sizes) from a menu with a very good choice plus a specials board. Additionally, it has a separate gluten free
Highly recommended to anyone who is passing, staff very friendly and welcoming, food outstanding real value for money you will never leave there hungry 😋 and we will definitely be going there again.
