Great pub, garden out back boules yard. Nice patio out front great for cat hin the sun. Are not doing food as they were badly flooded recently. But will hopefully continue when it gets warmer. Best pub in Framlingham
Beautiful, friendly and cost pub. Staff are welcoming and easy going
Menu is limited but all food ordered was delicious and tasted as wonderful as it looked
The three separate rooms in the pub were a lovely addition to our experience as we could choose to eat in one room and then go to a separate ro
Great friendly pub and good value for money. Had lunch here today and was really impressed. Lovely fresh food, good atmosphere and friendly staff. Will definitely return next time I'm in Framlingham.
We popped in on mother's Day
While visiting Framingham castle
And the Railway Inn was most welcoming
Would certainly visit again
Stopped in a few years ago and had a quick beer while galavanting across East Anglia. Lovely little spot for a pint!
Popped in for lunch and a snack. Nice beer garden friendly staff. Bacon and Brie Baguette with salad was nice. We found it easy to park opposite the pub too.
Absolutely wonderful atmosphere, family, dogs all so welcoming. A proper English pub, interesting people everyone so very friendly. Pool table, darts, etc children’s book and games, amazing outside garden area, very clean and very good prices. If you are in Framlingham I would 100% recommend a visit
Nice pub. Friendly and welcoming. Visited twice. Ales well kept. Only drank so can't comment on food. Well worth a visit.
Recommended.
A nice friendly pub with plenty of space and different rooms. Good outdoor spaces too. Staff were brilliant. Would I go there again, most definitely.
Four of us were visiting Framlingham castle on Sunday 24th October and we stumbled across the Railway Inn looking for lunch. They were offering an excellent Sunday roast with a choice of meats, we all had the beef and it was really good. The vegetables were super fresh and the service first class. W
Had yet another top notch meal here on Sunday. Choice of roast beef, chicken or pork with all the trimmings and a choice of puddings for only £11.50. Food quality was excellent and there was plenty of it. Other options were available from the menu too.
Staff all very friendly and efficient and pleas
Not expecting much during partial lockdown, hence only garden seats on a cold weekend. Probably wouldn't have been good either, except for...
1: nicely laid out garden
2: beer hut in the beer garden so the table service was fast
3: (and most importantly) staff who were so welcoming and attentive out
Excellent breakfast this morning. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. My breakfast bap was perfect, best quality sausage, bacon and a delicious runny egg.
Nice pub with friendly staff and a pool table that actually has enough room around the outside to play on. Lots of seating with two outdoor areas as well.
Usually considered the best pub in Framingham amongst my friends, especially at Christmas and New Year's where you can usually see anyone and everyone you have ever met in the area over the years. Lots of seating indoors and outdoors. Bars are quite small but serving is fast. Great pub. You will hav
The best and friendliest pub we found in Framlingham on a a sunny Saturday. A great selection of drinks and food. Very attentive and friendly staff who made us feel very welcome. All the other pubs in Fram need to visit to see how it should be done. Would recommend The Railway Inn to everyone.
Probably the best Local pub in Fram. Good selection of Beers and Lagers. Nice staff, good grub. Can even bring your dog for a Sunday pint in the garden.
Very nice pub, with good adnams selection. Very nice food too. Games room out the back, and separate room available for hire. Friendly staff and dog! Boules court out the back. My favourite pub in Framlingham so far.
