We came here for a pint on a Tuesday night and loved it so much we drove 45 minutes back for lunch the next day. Cozy, warm and welcoming. The food was GREAT. You’ll find the locals hanging out here and the bartenders are friendly and down to earth. My favorite spot on my tour around England!
Four of us went on recommendation for evening meal. Not disappointed. Varied and good menu. Relaxed eating in busy bar area. Lots of locals. Beer was good too. Very happily return. Because I am picky I would have given 5 stars if the bar brass was polished and loos updated but all in all good valu
Rustic ambience, but really great food , friendly staff. Do not let the look of the decor put you off. Try the food before you judge. Will definitely be going back.
Amazing Squid, perfect texture, probably the best I had. Parents said the same about 10 oz. Steak and Lamb. True natural meat. And very tasty beer aswell
Nice place to linger.
Don’t judge a book by its cover. This remarkably plain looking pub is a centre of excellence for pub food and pub atmosphere, with a warm welcome and an amazingly varied menu of well cooked and well presented food (and excellent beer). The environment is traditional pub, but the food is well-better
Cute pub with a great selection of alcohol. We didn’t eat there but the menu looked amazing and the food smelled incredible. They definitely seemed to know what they were doing. Seating inside looked nice, the garden out back was lovely and atmospheric.
A great pub in Framlingham, the food was very good. It was very busy on a Wednesday evening. It is also dog friendly.
We stayed in Framlingham for 3 days and ended up eating here 3 times. The quality of the food was incredible, beers really good and the prices really resonable. We got there on Sunday at opening time and in 30 minutes the place was really busy. If a pub can attract both locals and visitors, it deser
Only stopped in for a beer, the beer was good brewed locally. The food looked very good although I didn't have any. Also plenty of people in on a Tuesday night which is always a good sign. Small but functional beer garden and parking.
This was a really unexpected delight. The food was lovely, great quality lamb and duck, but what added to the night was the superb hosting and querky character of this gorgeous little pub.
Great food. Nicely spaced out eating area. Felt very safe.
I had an excellent pint of Earl Soham Victoria Bitter and one of the best sausage rolls I 've ever tasted for just £8. It was well worth the visit.
Enjoyed a lovely lunch with family, food was very tasty, service was friendly and accommodating. We will return.
Local pub with really great food. Had belly pork, really nice. Great service with good choice of beers.
