Absolutely wonderful meal. The flavours were purposeful and exciting to eat. There was nothing we didn't find delicious!

There is dining and there is fine dining, Brasted's certainly offers fine dining.
The welcome was warm and friendly, the service efficient and the staff were knowledgeable about the food but willing to say that they would ask if they were not sure.
The menu was varied offering 3 or 4 courses which were complimented with entrees, canapés and an amuse bouch.
The wine list was equally fine.
Ashley and his team looked after us fabulously with Freddie keeping an eye on our wine.
Not an everyday experience but thats what makes it special.
Great night, as usual, singing Christmas Carol's with the Salvation Army Band, good food atmosphere terrific.
I held my father's wake at Brasteds for about 150 people. I can't fault anything, from the welcome in the car park to the final stragglers at the end, everything was perfect.
Incredibly slick service. Utterly fabulous canapés, including mini beef Yorkshires, arancini, tuna tartare, and many more.... Young grandchildren catered for too.
Under instruction the champagne was flowing freely, but tea and coffee were also on tap.
Lovely spacious, clean venue with plenty of safe parking. And it's safe for smalleys to run around too.
The best send off I can imagine for my precious dad, he would have loved it.

We got married here on 28.05.18. Nick and his staff were brilliant from the moment we first contacted them, they made every effort to tailor the wedding just for us. The service is second to none, we both felt in safe hands throughout the day and they really looked after us.
We ordered substantial canapes which were presented exquisitely and in a timely manner. The main course and dessert presentation was perfect and tasted even better.
The venue itself is fantastic, we went for a rustic country theme, however,
I have no doubt that they can adapt to suit whatever type of wedding you want. The garden area allowed for some amazing photos, we got lucky with the weather but to be honest it wouldn't have mattered too much because the inside was equally impressive.
Our guests stayed at the lodge on the night of the wedding and it really was a 5 star experience. The rooms were clean, comfortable and it really topped off an amazing day for us.
There aren't enough superlatives to justify our experience here so I'll just settle for saying it was perfect.
Went on thursday, was fantastic, the waitress especially really made our evening amazing. Was not over attentive and made a great evening even better. Food is amazing and even when we were the last in the resturant we didnt feel rushed to leave. Will be returning
Came for a special birthday lunch and wow we were not disappointed. Fabulous menu, beautifully cooked and presented. Waiter was perfectly attentive. Would not hesitate to recommend to others.

We went there as a special treat, for the first time, before I have an operation soon. It was just what the doctor ordered! Wonderful food, lovely surroundings, helpful attentive staff. Unhurried but smooth-running service. Felt pleasantly full, and pampered afterwards. We'll be back when we have a special occasion to celebrate. Thank you Brasted's!
Here for a wedding, so the food was chosen for us. Post-pandemic restaurants are having trouble finding staff, but Brasted's seem to have bypassed that - the team that served us drinks, canapés and the meal were brilliant, and incredibly well organised by the team manager. The food was excellent, the room and settings looked fabulous, and the day went perfectly. Six stars, if I could...
Exceptional service, amazing food, nice atmosphere, a really special high class place. This restaurant is perfect for a special occasion.
I would advice dressing smart if you are going here. An excellent 3 course meal with wine for 2 will be in the region of £150 (or more depending on the drinks) but it really is worth it.

Pure luxury. Was greeted in the car park by Ashley (the concierge / manager) who offered to take our luggage and walk us to reception, then our room. We stayed in The Playroom which was divine; 4x poster very comfy bed, roll-top bath in the bedroom, en-suite with individual 'his and her' sinks and mirrors, walk in rain shower, lovely view of the gardens from the bedroom window. We ate at the restaurant which was one of the best fine-dining experiences I've had; all courses were not only very tasty but well sized too. Again all staff there (including Ashley again!) were just the right amount of attentive. Then in the morning, although we were told breakfast ended at 9.30 am, my partner and I missed our alarms and so the staff called our room at 9.35 am to say they would still happily keep the kitchen open to cook us breakfast! Another touch (of many!) to leave a lasting impression that guests here are truly given VIP treatment. Can't give enough stars, we'll definitely be coming back.
Extremely welcoming , accommodating staff from arrival to departure. Lovely grounds to enjoy. The establishment provides a warm, inviting ambiance. Wonderful selection of wines, catering for all palletes which complemented the equisit dinner menu perfectly. The rooms were spacious and well presented.
Fine location, wonderful food and brilliant hospitality at this rural location bur with easy transport links (excepting road works - check ahead!)

I was pleased to see that all levels of service have not changed since my own wedding reception in 2006, which was also excellent. Congratulations to all the staff (and especially the Bride and groom on this occasion!)

1st visit and very impressed, service was impeccable and delightfully old-school, food was wonderful - inventive without being too 'trendy' and no gimmicks! Prices were appropriate for the high standards, but still reasonable. Staff were professional, friendly, but not intrusive. Nothing was too much trouble and all dietary requirements catered for. Having dined at many reputable establishments throughout the UK over the years, we are delighted to find this gem on our doorstep, and we cannot understand why it has taken us so long to dine here. Brasted's is our new regular go-to restaurant.

This restaurant has quickly become our new favourite. The service is outstanding and we have not had service anywhere like it elsewhere. They have it just spot on. The food is amazing and the restaurant itself is beautiful and relaxed. A very special treat.
