The Black Horse, Foxton - Foxton - Photo album

We had a lovely lunch on the patio in the sun, great food, well kept gardens and good value for money. Just a stone’s throw from the tow path by the canal, you can walk to Foxton Locks in 20 mins. We would definitely return.
Nice pub. Restaurant and bar. Outside area for warmer days. Narrowboaters welcome. Close to the canal. Good food and drinks. Friendly service. We will be back!
Luckily will stopped at Foxton after coming throught the locks, and moored up directly below the Black Horse... Even luckier it was the Wednesday/Thursday "Pie & Grill" nights, whereby as family of four enjoyed 2 steaks, half chicken and chips + chicken goijons, started with a camembert sharing star

We popped in for lunch whilst out on a walk and enjoyed a lovely Brie, bacon and cranberry baguette. Good portions and well priced. Despite arriving right at the end of a lunchtime service we were still made to feel very welcome and staff were polite and accommodating. Lovely outdoor seating area un

Stopped off on our way through the locks for an evening meal. Was pie and grill night and food was good and great value for money. Staff were friendly and although it was busy were coping well. Will be back

Waitress came over and asked and I explained why . She said she would speak to the chef but never came b
Family and a dog looking for a pub for dinner and found this through Google. Dinner was home cooked pub classics in generous portions, puddings were incredible and the service and decor on point. Next time we’ll be back to experience the beautiful garden. Highly recommend.
