Quay Bakery - Fowey - Photo album

This bakery makes some of the best sourdough bread Iโ€™ve ever head. The pasties are delicious too, and service is always friendly and with a smile. Must visit if youโ€™re in Fowey!
Came here as the pasties looked the biggest on the street and we definitely made the right choice. We got a Cornish pasty and a Gouda and onion pasty, both were delicious.
Bought a large steak pasty today for less than five pounds. It was huge and absolutely the best I have had in 20+ years of visiting Cornwall. In times of s cost of living crisis this bakery stands out and should be applauded for still producing such quality and value for money. Thank you!
We visited this bakery several times during our holiday in Fowey and it didn't disappoint. Pasties, Saffron buns and rosemary and walnut bread were all delicious. Wish we could have made our way through everything they made!
With friends on a day trip, what a find! Whilst walking by spotted that they sold decent size saffron buns, when paying was shocked to find out it was reasonably priced! Not everyone is a wealthy tourist, so thank you!
Simply the best cheese (Cornish Gouda) and potato pasty we've ever tasted. Well done to all involved ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
As a Cornish girl I can honestly say this is the best bought Cornish pasty I have had. Proper home made pasty and lucky for us ,we bought the last steak pasty in the shop. We ate it cold and it tasted just like a homemade pasty. As you say in your product information,it would be an insult to your pa
We had a couple of Ciabatta rolls from here and they were for sure the best bread rolls we have ever had. We will be back tomorrow.
Exactly what you picture when you think of a great independent bakery. Everything we had from there was sensational, particularly the bread and pasties!
Lovely bread, focaccia, bakewell and pasties. And friendly staff.
Wow! Not just the best Cornish Pasty in Fowey, but the best from our last two years of visiting Cornwall. The Cornish Gouda and Onion one was a triumph - tasty, well-cooked filling in a lovely pastry. And it was huge!
Bread is actually worth 5 stars...but Chelsea buns knead quite a bit of work.....some clues...more fruit....more cinnamon....and i am no expert but I would use milk to create the dough.....just saying!๐Ÿ˜š
Don't judge a pasty by its look, this by far the best Cornish pasty I've ever had. The crust had a nice crunch and the filling is cooked perfectly. I love the fact that they left the potato skin on for the steak filling - it adds more texture to the pasty and makes it more flavoursome! Their pasty
Very friendly staff, good selection of breads. We took the sourdough which was okay, the Cornish pasties were delicious but the best were the cakes! Really enjoyed my treacle tart and banana and maple cake. Would recommend.
Best bread in the whole world. We live in Manchester and are surrounded by artisan bakeries but nothing compares to Quay Bakery. We love their sourdough . . . Toast it each morning when we are down here . . . Marmite, local jam or smashed avocado . . . Everything works with it.
