Wetherspoon The Great Glen - Fort William - Photo album

Busy on a Saturday night, it's nevertheless a great place to get a bite after a day up Ben Nevis. Casual and open, you seat yourself and order on your mobile, never really having an interaction with staff other than when the food arrives. There is a small discount on beer with food, and the selectio
This place was our salvation for having a late dinner. We arrived to town at about 11pm and was the only place with the still the kitchen open. The food was of good quality as expected from the best Wetherspoons. Some tables were not very clean as they had some dirt from previous costumers but the p
Overall a solid experience. I wish they had Wi-Fi for us travelers though - especially since you have to order through your phone (note: you can order in person at the bar) The QR code didn't work for me, but the app worked perfectly. They brought my food in under 10 minutes. Ordered the lunch spec
Great place with very attentive staff and a very nice atmosphere. The food was better than expected for a pub, although perhaps a bit on the pricey side.
Easily one of the best Wetherspoon I have ever been to, clean and tidy, good atmosphere, friendly staff, amazing location, get the right seat and you can see the loch and the hill while you dine. Food was really nice (best Wetherspoon’s chips I’ve had), cocktails not great but they never are in Spoo
Great place, stays open late, prompt service too. The food is good and prices very reasonable.
The menu here wasn't as big as at most Weatherspoons. There were only 2 desserts to choose from. The pub was fresh and modern and had a nice feeling. Staff were all really friendly, and the service was quick. Our food was nice but not quite as well cooked as some other outlets.
I quite enjoyed it here. Spent two evenings here for dinner and had wraps (Chicken and the other was Halloumi) Both weee surprisingly good. Cheap pints.
Straightforward Weatherspoons, breakfast was ok (but the bacon could not have been more thinly cut!) but it was clean, the staff were great and it was all ordered through a Q-code found on the table. Refillable coffee was just the ticket so overall not bad.
First time in the establishment, ordered on the app, and within minutes or drinks were brought to us. Not long after that, our food was brought out. Fish and chips were so fresh and tasted better than any overpriced chip shop. Staff were so friendly and helped to create a relaxing atmosphere. I will
As others have said great for a late night sit down meal if you’ve arrived in town late. Ok, it’s not Gourmet pub food, but it’s priced accordingly, arrived fast and hot. Very busy from the window we lucked in to a table at the back and had good on our tables (ordered via the app) in less than 10
Went twice in my visit to Fort William!! Amazing food and staff both times! Just a small note that if you get overstimulated by noise, best to sit near the front of the place because the vents at the back are quite loud (they turn on and off at points which could be too much for someone with autism,
We only popped in for drinks. The establishment was clean and well set out, what's not to like about "Spoons". It's like an old jumper, reliable, comfortable and you know what you are getting.
