If you're looking for the perfect fish and chips, look no further than this amazing establishment. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with the tantalizing aroma of freshly fried goodness.
The fish is simply outstanding – perfectly battered and cooked to crispy perfection, with a tender and
Amazing fish & chips, probably the best I have had in Scotland. We were here in 2018 & we came back here in 2023 & were happy that the shop is still there. The fish was so fresh, firm, flaky & juicy. Its batter is crispy & crunchy. The scampi was very savoury & juicy. We chatted with Dale who was
We were quite surprised by how delicious fish & chips turned to be.
As a touristy place in Loch Ness normally the food quality is low but this one beats it, with a quick service, friendly staff and good sized food portion at very reasonable price..!
The fish breading was one of the best ones I hav
We happened on this place by accident as we were taking a comfort break and they were just about to open. Fish was large and meaty (a rarity these days) and the chips were beautiful. You have to wait as all the food is freshly cooked but the wait is definitely worth it. Highly recommended
Pretty good fish and chips. We ordered two haddock fish with chips and they were cooked fresh and the batter was not too thick. The fish was also fresh and flaky. The chips were also good.
Waiting time was around 10-15 minutes and there are a few tables outside.
Were there on a slow tuesday eve, people were generally friendly, the chips we ordered were great!
Probably the best fish and chips I’ve ever had! We stopped here by chance while visiting from London and we were so impressed with how delicious it was! The fish was haddock which I had not had before as I’m so used to cod in fish and chips shops, so I tried it and I am full converted! It was cooked
I had a 'Battered Sausage' - not something we have here in Canada - and I swear, I still dream about that thing. Floating on Loch Ness, sipping Ardbeg and secretly nomming on a sausage that I wasn't supposed to bring on board. Seriously one of my favourite memories from our trip.
Delicious food! I got to wander down to the loch eating some fish and chips and a battered sausage!
This was a very welcome takeaway after driving rather late in the day from the top to the bottom of Loch Ness. Such lovely white and tasty haddock and chips...perfect
Absolutely banging Scran. The cheesy chips were crisp yet also perfectly soft. The cheese was perfectly melted and the battered sausage was extremely delightful to devour. The missus enjoyed her scampi too. The food was quickly cooked having just opened when we got there.
Fish fresh and crunchy, chips/fries crispy and fresh. Not anything to complain about and not anything that particularly stands out, that's why 4 stars
Quick, friendly service and nice clean looking establishment. Food was a good size portion and reasonable value for money. I had the Stornaway haggis supper and my partner the battered sausage supper. Both had two of the main item with a good size portion of chips. The main let down was the chips we
We visited Loch Ness as part of a tour and recommended that we have lunch at this place while we wait for the cruise. Probably the best fish and chips I've ever had. Fish is fresh and crunchy. Chips are good as well for the price.
Really good fish and chips freshly cooked. My grandkids and family loved it. Visited it 3 times during our week long long stay at Fort Augustus. Staff was very friendly and the food was great. What more do you need.
They shut at 8.00 p.m. so don't leave it late.
