Loved the food and the service, even the poor waitress Lisa had to put up with the advances of my 5 year old son. Well recommend.

For the last 4 years this has been our go to restaurant in the lovely Fort Augustus. Staff are very friendly and the food is delicious. I alway have the Nessie Hot Pot but my better half has tried a lot of their menu. They are so welcoming to our two children as well. We visit about 2-4 times a year as we are not from Fort Augustus. Love it and highly recommend stopping here to eat.

Great service - staff weren't too talkative but that doesn't both me or my partner. He had the chicken kebab which he loved and I had the boat house chicken which was delish! we were asked how our meal was and if we needed anything extra which is all that matters x 5 Stars *****

Great food, loved the view, as it was our honeymoon though I would have thought theyd have given us a bottle of wine or champagne complimentary. However the staff were friendly and lovely atmosphere

Absolutely faultless wedding reception. Everyone really enjoyed their food, the location and the staff were on top form. The whole day was a huge success and a great part of that was down to Rambo and his team, I can not thank you enough for the effort you guys put in.... Look forward to visiting you all again soon.. You always deliver...

Absolutely stunning views. I come here everywhere. Drive all the way from London through the Scottish highlands to enjoy the fantastic Haggis and Fish n chips at this place. Have not been disappointed 6 times that I've been here.

Amazing!!! We stayed at The Highland Club in August and it was the highlight of our trip. Romantic, charming, fun and it was like being in a Harry Potter movie. Food was wonderful, scenery was breathtaking. Love this magical place!!

Restaurant at a fantastic site. Next to the abbey and just beside loch ness. Reservation almost certainly necessary but luckily there was a place left. Thanks to the lovely waitress. Food was excellent!

Make sure to request one of the tables by the big windows when making your booking as there are only two — if you are at one of these tables (like we were) your view will be stunning! Everything we ordered was delicious as well, would highly recommend the chicken with haggis, Nessie's hot pot (essentially a pie), and the haggis/neeps/tatties. Would definitely come here again.

Loved it. The place is fun, and so atmospheric, by the Lock Ness. Friendly staff and cozy interior. Food was really good as well, we enjoyed it!

Not sure why some of the poor reviews. The food was really quite good! And the views are of course unbeatable. If you’re on Loch Ness and make it to the south side I’d recommend a lovely lunch here. Fish & chips, salmon, beef sausage appetizer, and vegetable casserole were all excellent.

Good experience overall. Smoked salmon was really nice, the Nessie Dragon pie was not as spicy as promised but good to dip the chips in. Friendly staff. 2 courses with a soft drink and tip came to £29, that's a lot of money for me. Was it worth it? Sure, I'll be back, but more for the views . They were pretty awesome! Nice time in Fort Augustus, wel worth the bus journey. The nearby canal system with locks was really nice too.

This restaurant may not look like much from the outside, but the inside looks very nice. Really love the wooden finish. Aside from that, the food tastes great as well. I absolutely love the lamb kebab, I think it’s a must try if you come to Fort Augustus. Highly recommend.

Nice little restaurant directly at Loch Ness shore. Withstanding the temperamental weather you might sit outside in their garden enjoying the view (or weather). All others are recommended to sit inside even if it is for a couple of minutes waiting in case you come without reservation. Service is quick, attentive and friendly. Cosy atmosphere. Food is good likewise tasty.

A very nice restaurant in Fort Augustus at the base of Loch Ness. Window seats provide panoramic views up the Loch. The food is tasty and plentiful. The staff are polite attentive and friendly. Not too expensive. Well worth a visit. Eat and or drink in or out and watch the wildlife go by.

Options for our whole little group, good size portions! Lovely and fresh. I had the chicken delight, nicely cooked sauce was very tasty and a perfect amount for the chicken and rice I had on the plate. Boyfriend had the salmon which was once again perfectly cooked and nice amount of veg on the plate. Sat by the window looking out onto the lock as we had some very nice hot chocolates! Which you can add a nice little kick to.

Picturesque lunch location. Service is basic and food is just about fine. Prices are quite reasonable for the location. The outside seating offers the opportunity to have one of the most amazing lunches. Southern tip of the Loch Ness. Beautiful.
