Absolutely amazing, hidden gem hotel. Stayed for 2 night on a business trip, hotel is very homely, rooms are lovely (both clean and comfortable). The owners/staff couldn’t do anymore for you. Food is to die for, both breakfast and main meal in the evening. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a place to stay or even just somewhere different for a delicious meal! Jules & Lloyd thank you so much for providing a unique & personal stay.

A fantastic meal, that was thoroughly enjoyed by my husband and I. The pre main meal and dessert dishes are a lovely touch and enhances the dining experience. Also the owner/chef coming to the table to explain the dessert menu was great. The atmosphere is intimate and homely mixed with high standards of fine dining...I highly recommend and we will definitely be going back for seconds!
Celebrated our 32nd wedding anniversary with an absolutely stunning meal at the hotel last night! We have always said we wanted to go and WOW! The wait was definitely worth it! Beautiful cozy restaurant lovely friendly atmosphere, all put together by a very welcoming couple, Jules and Lloyd. It’s very clear to see Lloyd is an excellent chef, very creative and very passionate about his food and that most certainly transfers itself to the plate! The food was exquisite! They are a truly lovely couple and together they have created a beautiful home/small hotel/restaurant! Will definitely be going back!
We were there Wednesday night. What a wonderful welcome with such lovely touches such as home made fudge with eat me on the label in the bedroom. Dinner was just amazing even made room for sweet as had to try it. Very comfortable sleep then eggs Benedict for breakfast. My favourite. A welcoming hotel with fabulous food. I was impressed.

Wow. Lobster to start was delicious. Venison perfectly cooked and well presented, was so tasty. Dessert was just delightful, chocolate mousse and honeycomb with ice cream. What a fantastic taste experience and brilliant service.
Beautiful hotel and the food can't possibly explain in words how good the meal was. would recommend Cluny Bank Hotel to friends and family felt welcome from the moment we arrived.
I travel all over the country with my Job, and wanted to find a place that was 'special' and not your run of the mill hotel.
I'm glad I found the Cluny Bank and what a gem it is, fantastic facilities with a very homely feel. The Cluny Hotel is immaculate and my room was extremely comfortable with everything you need including free wifi to catch up on your emails and surf the net.
The owners Lloyd and Jules are extremely friendly and welcoming, It was a pleasure to spend time and talk with Lloyd during my stay and and I even got a tour around the Cluny Hotel. Lloyd is a very passionate chef and prepared some absolutely amazing food, breakfast set me up for the day and the long drive back to the North West.
I will definitely be returning and urge business and pleasure travellers to do the same.

On a Dark cold night I arrive at the warm inviting Cluny Bank Hotel. Usually I use Hotel Chains because some independent Hotels can be hit or miss. NOT Cluny Bank. The room is warm, very comfortable and well decorated and furnished. The meal in the restaurant was excellent. Freshly cooked to order and very tasty. Been on the road for 30 years and this Hotel rates very highly on my scale. I will be back because there are other sweets I need to try. Well done

Perfect evening of delicious food. So many little extras that really give you a lot for your money. The chefs narration of desserts was fantastic so nice to see him and to be able to thank him for our meal. Will definately be back again. Exceptional service aswell!! :)
Amazing hotel. The rooms are unique, clean and very comfortable. The attention to detail throughout is incredible. The staff are very attentive and friendly. Will definitely stay here again.
We had the loveliest stay here in a beautiful room last month and loved everything about it!! The finishing touches such as the homemade fudge and vintage radio just made it. Can't wait to return already, thank you!
