Really wonderful place. Went before the colours of cluny tonight and having come from Aberdeen we realised we had forgotten our buggies rain cover. The gentleman who welcomed us, I presume a manager luckily had a pram through the back which he was more than willing to allow us to borrow so we could take our baby up the hill, we only took the rain cover with us but his kind act really helped us out in a spot of bother. The food was good, we only had time for one course, I had the pork medallions special and my wife the fish goujons. HUUUUGE portions and really really nice to boot. Perfect fuel for a family trip up a hill. All in all a great wee place, top quality food and brilliant customer service. We returned the rain cover and though I didn't get a chance to thank the manager personally I will do it here! Thank you sir. Doing the people of Moray proud.
We went for a carvery today and it was delicious! Would definitely recommend and we'll definitely be back. Service from all of the staff was top class too

Went for dinner tonight which was amazing but what sealed the deal was the gluten free options for my wife as she is a Celiac we struggle to find good eating places gf mac n cheese was tremendous but when she discovered gf sticky toffee pudding it made her entire holiday. Thanks guy's great service helpfully as always we will return on our next vacation( and with three pooches very dog friendly)
Came in for a family get together this afternoon with the elderly generation from my family I haven't seen in years. All I can say is we all had a great time the food was excellent and big shout out to the girls serving us who had to deal with alot of hearing aids buzzing and deafness in general! Great service!

Another lovely lunch today. My wife had the King Prawn starter off the specials clip board and said it was the best starter she'd ever had anywhere. Always a nice relaxed atmosphere complimented by good efficient and polite staff. Thank you.

In summary had a really nice meal at a good price, was not too busy and great views outside. I would definitely visit again, this time I would visit on a Tuesday for Quiz Night or Friday for the Steak Offer. I would summarise my visit today as;
Food (4-Stars)
Was on the whole excellent - I had all beef, turkey and gammon, all were cooked really well. The cauliflower cheese and sweed was excellent and good giant Yorkshire puddings. The only negatives were the roast potatoes were pretty poor....they seamed deep fried rather that roasted, very hard and dry and tasted bland - I did not eat them. The mash potato was dry - needed mill/butter - however I mixed them with gravy. I had no room for a pudding as the Carvery was plentiful and very filling.

Lovely place to have Sunday lunch. Warm and inviting. Very friendly staff and good service. We had the carvery lunch, which was superb. Choice of roast meat carved for you and help yourself to the veg. All fresh and hot. We sat in the bar where there is a lovely wood burner to keep you toasty.
It’s been a while since we last dined out. But this was exactly the place and meal you want to have to break the cycle of always bring home. Warm, friendly welcome and we were given a lovely window table with plenty room for the pram. We skipped starters this time for no other reason our own time restrictions. Our main courses were the sea bass and the house burger, both incredible. Dessert was the caramel apple pie and the churros, again, phenomenal! Finished off with a couple of coffees. Was a tremendous meal and will be back for the Sunday carvery!!!
Very tasty food, excellent selection of drinks (including alcohol free), and a lovely setting. Staff great.
Food was amazing! We stayed on for the pub quiz (Tuesday night) and it was such a good night! Really enjoyed ourselves. It was my mums birthday, they brought the cake out and sang happy birthday to her, it was lovely.

I was on business but grabbed the opportunity with my relatives to enjoy some real tasty pub grub, and we weren't disappointed.
Start to finish, nothing was too much trouble and the food was so tasty and filling.
100% recommend and will visit next time in the area.
A lovely pub that serves excellent food in the area. I came with my whole family and we managed to get a large table. The staff are also excellent.
