Visited here for our 1st Wedding anniversary meal after recommendations.
Entered and was greeted nicely, we hadn't booked and although obviously busy, we were accommodated.
We chose from the 2 for £10.95 menu as was lunch time. I'm quite fussy but there was plenty to choose from. I chose deep fried camembert wedges to start and chicken and haggis stack for main. The hubby chose chicken meatballs to start with fish and chips for his main.
The food arrived and was beautifully presented and perfect portion sizes. The camembert was served with 4 crostinis, garnish and a sweet but not too sweet cranberry dip. Husband's was equally nice.
The main arrived and was impressive, the fish was large and the accompanying portion of chunky chips generous. Beautiful crunch to the batter and meaty fish. Mine consisted of beautiful mashed potato, passed through a sieve I'd imagine to ensure lump free made into a large quenelle so as not to be just dumped on the plate, this was topped with a large piece/s of chicken breast which was cooked beautifully atop this was a large slice of haggis again topped with a chicken breast. The dish was topped with a creamy whisky sauce with spring onions. It was accompanied by a side dish of root veg, perfect portion size.
Everything cooked perfectly.
We will revisit again and the only thing that was a negative, we weren't offered a wine list and the specials had to be read to us from a order pad. My suggestion is they are typed daily (would only take 5 minutes) and handed to the customer rather than having to remember the vast amount. All in all a great meal. Thank you!
Decided to try Kristoffs today for lunch as we have the Premier discount card which saves us 20% off our food. What a nice place, staff welcoming & friendly. The food was amazing, I had the Cajun chicken pasta and the kids had hot dog and chips. We then had sticky toffee for pudding, yum. Good sized portions and decent prices and with the discount on top it was great value! Will definitely be back when we are passing Forres! Thank you!
Absolutely love coming here. Best food I’ve come across in Moray. Highly recommend. Definitely worth travelling too as well if you’re not in Forres.

Went to Kristoffs for a meal was very busy and we hadn't booked but they managed to find me and my husband a table was delighted as we needed food x I just had a starter of pate it was so tasty and plenty for me x my husband had the cod loin and he said it was absolutely delicious x the service was top class and friendly x would recommend Kristoffs definitely be back x well done to Kristoff and lovely staff

Highly recommend the garlic mushroom with puff pastry for starter! Was excellent! If you like mushroom's you are in your dream! The food is very well presented, large portions and not over priced! Will definetly be back! 🙃

staff were lovely, very nice menu, we were served quickly and both had salads which were amazing very tasty will definitely return and try evening menu.
So refreshing to find a place with a vegan menu. My two friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal there last Thursday. I will mention Kristoffs in my Vegan Restaurant, Cafe and Streetfood group which has over 2000 members. �✨

Great food and there is a specials board as well as the set menu. Staff lovely and try and cater for any special requests. Cheesecakes are to die for �

Went for a family birthday meal on a weekday evening. Restaurant was less than half full. Service was a little slow but not too bad. Food was fantastic in particular the BBQ platter. Steak cooked to a perfect medium rare and the ribs were the best ive had in a long time. A little pricier than most places but having a meal where everyone came away having enjoyed it was worth it.

Great restaurant in the middle of Forres. The food was well presented and really tasty. Although the portions were a little small they were good value for money.
Lovely place to sit and eat. Food is brilliant. Think of your mother's finest cooking but better!

Christmas night out for the office - if their rowdy behaviour can be excused I would commend the kitchen on their incredible work; salmon rillete (garnished with actual caviar!), pork loin, trio of cheese (and a spare sticky ginger cake) all absolutely incredible. Fantastic staff who put up with a lot more than they should and a kitchen that is out of this world. Many thanks.

Popped in for a quick bite at lunchtime. Very polite staff, food was lovely. Comfortable and clean restaurant with good value for money.
Great atmosphere and great food. Always willing to adapt menu for your individual taste. Anything from a coffee to a superb evening meal. Five stars are not enough.

1st time visit, lunch menu... Reasonably priced, good food and the service was excellent (tbh the service was better than the food). Highly recommended.
Great place for family meal ,all freshly cooked ,not leaking with cooking oil like in most of the places, great service and nice athmosfere ,the only small minus is for side salad as it could be more diversify.Highly recomended place.I will definitely come back.
Really pleasing that the menu changes regularly, specials board often unusual and interesting selections.
