Looks like it's had a refurb since some of the other reviews. Very clean and modern. Nice food and friendly staff. Handy for getting chippy before heading to squirrel park if using the train as right by station.

After a walk on Formby beach it's always mandatory to go to The Good Catch for fish chips & mushy peas! Delicious & good size cod.

Weird mushy peas, as they weren't mushy they were full marrowfat peas, but a great chippy non the less.

I went to this chippy a few years ago and wasn't that impressed so haven't been back before now. This time it was gorgeous the fish wasn't greasy the batter was light and the fish perfectly cooked, the chips were chunky and the curry sauce was good. Will be back again soon.
