Phoned it in an was ready on time. Very pleasant female on the fone too.
Food was great and massive portions. Will definitely be back when we're in the area again.

Delicious food! My family drive from Carnoustie to pick up as its the best takeaway around. Particularly love the chicken and cheese spring rolls. Delish! x

Good food as you would hope for from a Chinese takeaway, service was quick and food nice and hot.
We've had takeaway from here a few times and it's pretty good. The service is quick and portions well worth 2 meals. It's not heavily salted either. Worth a try.
Lots of people in Forfar said they had never tried The Royal kitchen. But it was a Monday night and most others were shut. So I took a gamble and it was brilliant. Best Chinese I’ve had in a very long time. £28 for Chicken Chow Mein, Sweet and Sour Chicken Hong Kong style, Honey Chilli Chicken, 2 eg
What a cracking Chinese, ordered in person and waited and 2 meals which were prepared within 15 minutes.
Took home and wow what great size portions added by the fact they tasted stunning.
Well priced and highly recommended to anyone living, staying or passing through 👍🏼
Amazing food!! We travelled from Dundee to try the Royal Kitchen and it was so worth it.
First time to try the Royal Kitchen, but boy it won't be our last. Portion sizes were really good as was the quality of the food, both our dishes were delicious. The free prawn crackers were superb as was the free fortune cookies. At last a decent carry out in Forfar !!!
Ordered the meal for 2 which is great as there’s lots of choice and good value for money. Portion sizes were big. Chicken satay was good but would much prefer if you could order breast of chicken and pay a little more as the normal chicken in chinese dishes can be quite rubbery.
Love the quality of the food here. Did see so eone come in as order was wrong but staff apologised and made another one with no qualms. Can use card here too
This takeaway always provides fresh tasty Chinese food, a lot of variety in their menu and reasonably priced, recommended.
Just received my long awaited munchy box and written on it was a message saying stay safe with a love heart after it. Opened box and boy it was worth the wait, looked as good as it always has before lockdown and them closing for their own safety and their staff's.
