A motorcyclist in St Andrews told us of the Forfar bridie, so the other half pointed me in that direction and I duly obliged, "yes dear", 😉. Wasn't disappointed, the forfar bridie in shortcrust pastry was delicious. The steak bridie, a absolute giant of a pastry, just looking at it made her knee's tremble. Well top marks, fantastic. As you can see the other half certainly enjoyed them, even cleaned up the crumbs😄. Definately worth a visit. 11/10.

The large bowl of vegetable soup was excellent, thick enough to nearly stand your spoon in. A scone and superb raspberry jam and the scone nicely warmed. Only reason not for scoring 5 was the fairly weak and milky coffee. Staff were very pleasant and attentative. Recommend a visit and make you have something with the jam😁

Went here for a Forfar Bridie, we got the puff pastry one, a big bit of beef to eat. Nice cosy eat in tearoom, service was good and the Bridies delivered promptly with tea and coffee. Lots of good Scottish cafe options here. The cakes looked good too.

Excellent!! We went in and had a coffee and a hot chocolate friday. Saturday we went in for lunch both of us had the burger special. Very good. Everything that was brought out of the kitchen, looked good😊Really good value, dog freindly. Very pleasant hard working staff. We would come back to forfar for this cafe alone. We will visit again when in the area.

This cafe/bakery really gives me 1920's vibes, and I love that. Its a unique atmosphere. Lovely meals and many home bakes. One thing put me off going back was when I was in the mood for soup and there was none left so asked for a scone instead and they had none of those either which was a bit surprising since they are a bakery! Can't fault the waitress, friendly and polite.

Out for a drive, from Kirkcaldy..we decided to pop in again.. Our last visit was great and today was no different.. Beautiful hand baked goods and our steak bridies were gorgeous 😋in fact we're still eating them.. True they're a bit more expensive but a rare treat,in these trying times..I hope they're still there, when we next visit..

Service was excellent. The waitresses were very happy ladies who are delighted to be part of your day. Food quite good. Lost a star for cleanliness. Thinks like the menus very dirty.
