What a great place. Our room was lovely. Very spacious and very clean. Super comfy, big bed and tastefully furnished. Our evening meals were delicious and very reasonably priced. Plenty of choice. The staff were excellent. Very friendly, helpful and attentive without being intrusive. Will definitely return and very happy to recommend.
Fantastic! He had a meal in their bistro restaurant and the staff were very friendly, the place was very clean and the food was fabulous. Very generous portion sizes and a great selection. I had their "Chapelbank Tower" which was a stack consisting of steak, haggis, black pudding, onion rings and a mushroom, with a whisky jus,, served with veg and a choice of chunky chips or mash. For a very reasonable price a bit under Β£20. Highly recommend it. Their house red wine is a Merlot which was very tasty. Would go back again and again. πππππ
Great food and reasonably priced. We had our wedding reception here it was fantastic. Staff couldn't do enough for us. Though limited with space our wedding was small 38 in total so it was perfect for us. Often visit for coffee, lunch and evening meal.
Enjoyed a beautiful meal here with my partner and ordered from the valentines menu. The soup was devine and the scallops cooked to perfection. Service was brilliant and the waitresses couldn't have been more attentive sadly the only thing we both feel let it down was the deserts. We had cheesecake and the poached pear. Both we couldn't eat but then maybe it's just our taste. All in all fantastic meal. Also what's going on with the decor. Could do with a makeover and the disappearance of the glass tables
Just had lunch here and it was brilliant. The food was lovely with so much too choose from and the price was very cheap for the meal we had. The man that served us was very friendly and provided a great service. I will be going back and also recommending this place to everybody!

Great lunch menu and quick service. Food delious. Small car park at rear which is very handy. Beats the car park charges. Never had a bad meal there.
Lovely stay here for the night. Brilliant food, great staff, very comfortable bed and room (room 1 is massive!). Would highly recommend, free parking on site, central location, reasonable price, I'm a pain for looking for dust in hotels and this place was spotlessly clean π

Really lovely hotel - comfy room, nice food, very friendly staff. The only things I'd change would be adding net curtains and bigger bath towels. These are really minor things and more than made up for with the service

This is a lovely place to eat day or night. The staff are very helpful and friendly. It's located on the main high street with ample parking to the rear. Well worth a visit next time you are in Forfar.

Excellent food and service between us we had 4 different dishes each one as good as the other would highly recomend the cheese board for dessert
