Awesome food. This team put out incredible meals. All in a very small intimate kitchen that is open and on full display. Keeping the level of proficiency and professionalism while serving a full restaurant is an achievement any team should be proud of.
Cant reccomend this place enough.
Treated Dad to a Birthday High Tea at Cashleys.
The High Tea was amazing all 4 of us walked out full with our boxes with cakes.
We all had something different.
We all enjoyed out meal.
Sunday Beef Roast.
Steak Pie
Fish and Chips
Mac Cheese with Bacon
Me and my sister were there a few weeks back also. Out walking and went in at 7.30 for something to eat could not be more helpful and welcome.
Sister had a starter amazing and we both had Burger and I had a sweet.
Would highly recommend Cashleys
Great little local brasserie. Every market town should have one like this. Menu that tries to do something different without going beyond chef's ability is always a good thing. Came here because of Eat the Town on BBC, but will deffo come to eat here again.
Food was amazing and there were only 2 people in the kitchen and one person serving.
Well done to them all as worked really hard giving the best food and service.
Even though they were busy still had a can do attitude where nothing was too much - answering any questions asked.
Never been for an evening meal but after last night will definitely return 👍
Had a lovely lunch. The chicken & bacon, beet wrap was lovely. A little too much mayo but nevertheless it tasted great. Spicy tomato soup was perfect. The place is bright & airy. The staff weren't 'on it'. They were nice & friendly but just something lacking. Nothing that would put me off, I just think a couple of them may need extra training. I will definitely be back, there was so much on the menu that I liked the look of. This is a great place in Forfar. The town has been lacking a nice place to eat with good food that's not pub food. Thank you.
Great meal out! As the new place in town we were pleased to see really nice menu options, lots of places in Forfar to get a steak pie etc so it’s a refreshing change. All of the staff really care about you having the best experience. We were a table of four and the food was amazing! Perfectly seasoned, fresh and cooked perfectly! Finally a chef that doesn’t cook sea bass so much It turns into cotton wool! If you are vegetarian they have a whole menu just for you with absolutely stunning options! They have a great wine selection that they have a menu for and also a menu on the wall, lovely touch. I thought it was great to see the chef’s cooking our meal. At one point they looked to be trying some new recipes out too. They were asking for our feed back about the dishes so they can get things perfect. They have a space upstairs for dining and you can hire this out too! I really cannot wait to come back and eat more! Lovely clean environment with the emphasis all about the food and your pleasure!
Excellent. The service is great, good choices on the menu..including Mediterranean style dishes. The cuisine is 1st class.
Absolutely superb restaurant. Went with my husband - a Forfar native - while up from London visiting family. We eat out a lot (or used to!) and this compares with some of the best meals we’ve had in London and beyond. Chef Daniel is really creative and talented and pays attention to every small detail. Highly recommend the sea bass and the feather blade beef for main courses. Lovely dining room and friendly waiting staff. Excellent value, too.
Amazing food, well presented, clean, welcoming and really good value for money Could not fault them, will definitely be back.
Great menu, lovely ramen and really nice staff. Will definitely return
Had a delicious High Tea here. The food was excellent and the service was great. We thoroughly enjoyed it all, especially the cakes at the end! Would definitely recommend. We will certainly be returning 👍
