Really, really good food. The aubergine curry (pictured) and sea bass were amazing. Also, huge thanks to the staff, my mother was experiencing back pain at our original table and asked to be reseated. The staff didn’t demand a reason but graciously accommodated our request. All of the staff were tremendously friendly and did not act put upon when we asked several questions. Two thumbs up, would go again for both the food and service.
Great staff, great selection of drinks. I tried the local Rocquettes cider and we purposely came on the Monday to try out their Pie Night, you can go up and help yourself the Chef was very informative and explained all the pies. They were all very tasty. For me the Cottage Pie and the Chicken and Mushroom were my favourite but they were all delicious 😋 I highly recommend trying out this place was very impressed with the whole experience and we both thought it was reasonably priced. 10/10
Had a casual lunch. We were well looked after.
I chose their curry dish with chicken which was absolutely delicious. My husband had the salmon fishcakes which were good but lacked a bit of flavour.
We will return soon as it's a good menu, reasonably priced and the service is good.
Richard and his team were fantastic and incredibly accommodating. The food and value is top notch. I tried all the pies, sides and sauces and nothing disappointed. Really impressive and a fantastic concept. Definitely will be back. Pie on tap… you'd be mad Not to.

Went for Sunday dinner with family including our 1 year old son who is allergic to nuts, milk and gluten so to say we're awkward customers is an understatement! The floor staff and chefs were so accommodating and nothing seemed too much trouble. There was actually lots from the carvery that he could eat too. Would definitely recommend this place. Thank you again!
Couldn’t fault the Sunday Carvery lunch, never as good as home-cooked, but a solid 9/10. Great selection of roast meats to choose from: Pork, Beef & Chicken, plus vegetarian options and also 3 gravies: chicken, red wine & gluten-free options.
The veg was superbly cooked and topped up regularly with fresh and not over-cooked in the slightest.
Yorkshire puddings were huge and plentiful
Place was busy, but was plenty of room outside in the beautiful beer garden and service was friendly and prompt.
Only downside, I would say, was expensive drinks at £11 for a large measure of wine, which looked distinctly on the small side for a large measure!
The roast itself at £16.95 was good value though

I went for a private party at the Deerhound. It was the most marvellous night. The food was second to none. Tasty, well presented, varied and colourful.
The staff were incredible. They made the party go with a swing.
The entertainment was first class. It was sad when the evening ended.

Staff very pleasant, surroundings comfortable, the carvery was very good, I had two large slices of lamb, cook to perfection, my wife got half a chicken, a very good portion again. The food would have got 5 star but the beef was a bit rare for our taste.

It's located relatively close to the airport.
I popped in to book for four for the evening and decided to have a hot chocolate whilst i waited to pick my husband up ( from the airport).
I got talking with a member of staff who told me my hot chocolate was on the house. ( A very kind and appreciated gesture)
I also had a garlic ciabatta with cheese.

Nothing prepared us for the culinary feast that evening.
We ordered the lamb shank from the specials menu , the rump steak, the salmon n dil fishcakes and a chicken dish which I can't spell.
All the meals were fabulous.
Very delicious.
My husband stated that the lamb was in his top five best meals.
The sauce on the chicken was lovely.
The staff were very accommodating, happy to assist with any requests.
Car parking was ample .
Would highly recommend a visit here.
