We arrived at The Potting Shed today believing we had a booking for Afternoon Tea through Groupon. It transpired that we actually were due at The Potting Shed in New Milton but after being assisted by staff there to contact the other Potting Shed (& using their phone too to sort it) we decided to stay and enjoy Afternoon Tea with them instead. So glad we did! Delicious sandwiches all freshly made, huge scones perfectly baked with clotted cream and jam and four massive cakes…all scrumptious (although we needed to take home with us)!! Lots of fresh tea to wash it all down. Just perfect and a belated birthday pressie for a dear friend! It would appear many (like me) confuse the two Potting Sheds…take care when reviewing!! This Potting Shed has not disappointed us on previous visits either!

Great find - all the food and drinks were absolutely delightful (cow burger, dirty fries, sausage ciabatta, kids pizzas). Maybe slightly on the pricier side but the quality is superb so worth the extra. Kids loved running around in the gardens. Highly recommended

Probably the best breakfast I’ve ever had! Great place to eat, very friendly staff with nice little shop next door! Returning for lunch tomorrow! Favourite cafe of our whole holiday in the New Forest!

Loved the pannini. Coffee and tea were good. Prices are a little high but quality is great. Not far from Hyde where you can often see deer and horses.

Lydia makes the most divine gluten free chocolate brownies. The potting shed is a feast on the eyes and the belly. I spent hours strolling around looking at the lovely gardens and plants. This place is gorgeous & a must see for any occasion

Excellent barely covers it, two visits within two days. Lunch burger mouth watering as I type, Big breakfast was just manageable quantity, quality. Makes me hungry just thinking about it. Another reason if needed to revisit the New Forest. Going back to both in November...

Second visit, this time for breakfast which was as good a breakfast as I've ever had. I'm not sure what my expectations were, but what arrived was incredible value for money. I'd describe it as really "clean" and well presented. Two eggs, sourdough, local sausage (amazing) two bacon rashers, black pudding, beans, hash brown and incredible mushrooms that stole the show. All for under £12!!! That's a £25 breakfast in most London hotels - I was genuinely surprised at how cheap this was. Great staff, great venue and lots of smiling faces - even on the many dogs that also like to visit. Well done guys you've got a little gem in the Forest.

Love this spot. Dog friendly 🐾 the staff are great and the menu is lovely. It feels like it's away from huge crowds but cosy. Loads of seating, the parking is easy but you don't have to pre-book but you might at well, if you have the option.

Excellent service , very helpful. All tables reserved but they offered us a table for an hour and as we only wanted coffee it was much appreciated. Lovely coffee and delicious flapjacks 😀
