Lovely pub. Nice atmosphere and decor with a real log fire for the winter. Good range of real ales. The pub is dog friendly with a jar of treats for the dog and water bowl. The food is reasonably priced, freshly cooked, well presented and plentiful. Importantly the staff member asked if we had any food allergies. The staff are polite, friendly and helpful. The toilets are upstairs which could be a problem for some people. I'm not sure if there was an accessible WC on the ground floor ( I didn't see one). Overall a good experience at this venue.
Food was brilliant, great atmosphere and top service. I had the beef & red wine lasagne and it was delicious, great portion size too. In particular, Kacie made us feel very welcome and happily catered to dietary needs. Fully recommend!
What a lovely place, situated next to more modern amenities.. the food was really good and service was good although we were interrupted a little too often. A great atmosphere with friendly staff. Would absolutely eat there again..though perhaps not on a race day.
Great little pub / restaurant, very busy ordered the signature burger ,which was probably the best I have ever had .very friendly staff and a great location as the travelodge is next-door
I took my dad to this great establishment last night on our way to the theatre. Attentive staff who looked after us perfectly, nothing was too much for them (and my dad is quite demanding!)
Lovely food and a great pint of asahi.
Special mention to John and Amber who made our experience a positive one.
All of our food was fantastic, and arrived very quickly. Our waitress Kacie was fab and very attentive! Felt safe eating with allergies!
Dropped in on a Thursday evening. Very busy got a table. Friendly welcoming manager. Very polite waitress. Ordered steak for my wife and I had the Chef special confit duck leg with pulled duck in a mash pie. Both cooked to perfection. The duck was ansolutely delicious. Would not hesitate to recommend.
We had a very nice family Sunday dinner.
The place is charming and you can choose a seat inside or outside.
There is a nice room for a company, several fireplaces that I believe are adding cosines at a cold weather.
On Sundays they have a special menu with Sunday roast. We had with beef and pork belly and a burger with salad.
The staff is really friendly.
The Old Stables is located at the crossroads between Chichester, Arundel and Bognor Regis. Nice place to have a stop to refuel for further traveling.
2nd visit in 4 days as needed dinner after long journey home, app once again let us down “oops there’s a problem try later” and we were sat in their car park!!! Keira served us very well and attentive, we got 33% off too so all in all a great result I had curry again and Wife had Lasagne, we both had calamari starters, we only live 3/4 mile away so went home very satisfied. Well done all,
Tanith was brilliant great service on her first day starters were fantastic garlic bread is huuge and really tasty i had the twin lamb meal well priced meat was awesome!! Only negative was having had 2 fantastic courses we went for pudding looking forward to the same quality of course i had the honey pot pudding was a pure disappointment nice idea lacked filling and the biscuits tasted like cheap butter

Served by Leilah who was lovely, efficient and friendly.
Booked again for next Sunday. Thank you
We had dinner here as we were staying at the hotel next door, based on the fact that it was so handy. But we were very pleasantly surprised at just how lovely it was. The pub was busy but inviting. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious - and certainly better than we had expected. We all left full and happy!
