This is my go to. I lived in Yorkshire for years where the curries are really good. I’m. Big fan of the saag paneer which they let me get as a main. The service is v.friendly and khaled and team are a pleasure to speak to when I go in. I’m a regular here and would recommend trying. The flavours are rich and the meat quality is tender and succulent for anyway eaters. Would love it if they opened a restaurant to sit in

Travel from Dover to Folkestone to collect our takeaway normally on a weekend but this Tues 22 May collected chick. Mad. Lamb desk. B..aloo, mush badj and pash. Naan. Expecting slight drop in standard for midweek but no! Everything was excellent if not even better than usual. John, Dover.
We had a lovely Take Away down at the beach. The food was absolutely delicious. We can highly recommend it!!

What a great find. We were looking for a curry house we could use our Uber voucher and came across The new Delhi.
We are so glad we tried it, we very rarely have curry as we are always keen on healthy eating but we were so pleased. Our daughter loved the Korma, we had a meal deal for 2 and there was so much, my husband will be having it for lunch. Non greasy, the meat was absolutely gorgeous and just melt in the mouth and the flavours were amazing. All fresh!!

Amazing food. My new favourite in folkestone just about beating the clay oven. Food is fresh with Berry little to no oil. High quality ingredients and the curries were all different. Lamb Byriani in particular was great; seemed freshly cooked and moist rather than reheated dry rice. Will be ordering from here from now on.
Amazing! Gorgeous! Beautiful food! This is THE BEST curry I have had! The Samosa Chat Starter delicious! Lamb Korma was amazing! Onion Bhaji’s were perfect! It is safe to say this is the place to go for a curry!
I haven't been here in 15yrs. I moved to New Zealand 15yrs ago. My mum and I really miss this restaurant and still talk about it all these years later, because nothing here compares to the amazing taste of New Delhi. We would love your recipe for the vegetable pilah rice and the chicken korma.

The food from here is excellent. Full of flavour. We’ve found the curry restaurants in Folkestone to be a bit hit or miss, but this one has an excellent chef. The delivery was really quick too.
Ordered online- nice simple system to use. Food was ready on time. Premises spotlessly clean. Polite staff. Got the food home. The aroma alone was amazing. Good sized portions, bonus poppadoms and sauces too! Food was the best ive ever had from an indian takeaway. Full of flavour and good quality properly cooked meat. Im going back!
We just a really excellent take away yesterday from New Dehli. The food was perfectly spiced with flavours that were distinct and clean . No muddy sauces. Portions were generous and good value. Highly recommended

We have been on a mission to find the best takeaway curry in Folkestone, and I think this is it! The dhansak (both chicken tikka and vegetable) is fantastic, the peshwari naan is lovely with lots of filling, and the sides were great. Prices are reasonable, delivery on time and the food arrived hot and delicious. I think we have found our regular Indian takeaway!
