I thought it was a wonderful way to get from England to Northern France. I was on a solo trip to Europe on a coach and I was lucky to have the seat I had because it meant I could watch how they do it and shout out to Flicbus. After all, somehow they managed to squeeze into the tiny tunnel. It had public toilets and I could see people walking while the shuttle was operating. Check in was a breeze and we got through and you could feel the shuttle moving but it was a weird feeling. Anyway we survived and I would 100% ride again. I was only disappointed because somehow I had this vision it was all glass and I could see fish and sharks while moving my way to France 😝

I'm absolutely thrilled with my experience at the Eurotunnel terminal! From the moment I arrived, the staff's efficiency and friendliness put me at ease. The whole process, from check-in to boarding, was seamless and stress-free. The well-organized lanes and clear signage made navigation a breeze, allowing me to reach the gates without any hassle. Once past the gates, I was impressed by the modern facilities and amenities available. The waiting area was comfortable, and there were various food and shopping options to keep me entertained. The cleanliness and maintenance of the terminal were impeccable, creating a pleasant atmosphere overall. But what truly stood out was the punctuality of the departure. My scheduled time was adhered to, and the boarding process was quick and organized. The feeling of driving onto the train was both exciting and novel, and the journey itself was smooth. All in all, my experience at the Eurotunnel terminal was fantastic. The top-notch service, combined with the well-designed facilities, made my journey enjoyable from start to finish. I can confidently say that I'll be choosing the Eurotunnel for my future cross-channel travels without a doubt.

It’s good and quite to cross the channel. They can’t keep the time on school holidays as they always running late.

Travelled towards the end of August and then back mid September. Given option of earlier train both ways. In fact going we didn't step out the car upon arrival at Eurotunnel. We went straight through. Slight queues at passport controls both ways but you expect that. Great service. Just wish they could sort the train toilets out otherwise it normally means a quick stop upon arrival in either country. Excellent service will use again hopefully very soon.

Arrived Folkstone very early and was able to board a much earlier train free of charge.

Recent trip took just 1 hour 50 mins from the check-in booths in Folkestone to the motorway in France... perfect way to cross the Channel. Return crossing took longer waiting for passports to be stamped but it's a very good way of travelling.

Unfortunately there were mega delays due to security escalation as a terrorist escaped from prison. The security was not a problem but the delay made us very late to arrive at our destination in France. It was one of the hottest days of the year and we were stuck in our electric car and didn’t want to use the ac. Eventually we were loaded on the train and once it was moving it was a pleasant and quick crossing. On our return journey the delays were even worse on the French side also because of heightened security. It’s first time in over 20 years we have used the shuttle. Years ago it was quick easy and efficient. I have given 4 out of 5 stars because people arriving 2 to 3 hours early were loaded quickly on earlier trains and although were 1 1/2 hours early we ended on a later train then booked on both journeys.

It’s fast, convenient, has regular service and is pretty hassle free. No real onboard facilities but the journey time is quick and simple. I prefer physically being on the ferry but it’s hands down a much easier and less stressful experience using the tunnel. All good

What a brilliant service! Fast efficient booking in. The pet centre is very proficient and friendly staff. Getting on and off the train is so easy and with only 35 minutes to cross I will never contemplate using a ferry.

As you arrive your car number plate is scanned and it recognises your booking then offers you earlier travel times if they are available (usually for free). The parking is plentiful and the services are good but could maybe have a few more things for kids to do. Going through to get on the train itself can take some time but is certainly no worse than an airport things seem to move at a smooth rate. Getting off at the other side is as simple as driving away, great service.

Staff where absolutely amazing when it appeared we forgot one passport. Received an open 24 hour ticket and when we returned staff were informed and very thoughtful. Made all the difference in a very stressful time. Our family again had a great journey thanks to Eurotunnel and their staff. Also thanks to the kind staff member that alerted us to the option of charging our non Tesla car at a Tesla charger. This saved us so much time and made our day!

Booked at very last minute due to the ATC meltdown last week when all flights were being cancelled. Great alternative to drive to Europe. Bought the flex fare and needed a refund as my plans changed but the customer support was excellent and really helped me get sorted. Can't recommend them enough.

Our 6 trip this year and our 4th n with our puppy. We cannot fault the pet check in. Nearly every time we arrive we are checked into an earlier slot. Not the cheapest way to travel to france but for us the best with a pet. So quick to board and disembark the train

We tend to use the crossing at least once a year to visit relatives and must admit it’s getting better 1) if you drive an EV car, they are adding 3 more chargers and any car can use the Tesla fast charge by downloading the app 2) the food offering in the terminal has slightly improved over the years with Leon, Starbucks,
 3) there used to be a goody bag given to children which we didn’t receive this year 4) the crossing is quite seamless and the journey in the tunnel lasts 20-30’ tops. We won’t stop using it anytime soon!

When it works it works well. Travel time just over 30 minutes. Travel tip, make sure you cover off all areas in the prebooking process. Effort involved is worth it and well automated.

Fantastic EU link. Very fast channel crossing. Practical for car/bike drivers. Pricing isn’t always great and it’s hard to find the constantly advertised “low prices” despite flexible date searches. Poor COVID-19 management. Basically shut all on board loos rather than increasing cleaning. Poor effort!
