Chill out in Kipps, when in folkstone, wonderful vegetarian food ( humus to die for) the pianist do laid back and cool creating a real atmosphere that is so lacking today. No TV only cool people enjoying an evening of quality beer, conversation and song

A buzzy and relaxing atmosphere where the staff are great, cool interior and felt as if we could have been in central London in a cracking bar.

Great relaxing pub. Good ales and cider. Host, went and got some ginger ale mixer for us as they had none in stock. Our go to pub when we visit Folkestone. 😀

Just excellent in every way. Atmosphere was utterly amazing. Seems like it has had an upgrade of lighting too.

A fabulous discovery on our trip to Folkestone. Cosy atmosphere, lovely and knowledgeable staff, dog friendly, and ales straight from the cask- as it should be! A must visit if you're looking for a nice place with pub vibes but not rowdy or crowded

Good selection of ales and ciders. Liked the decor and the people when we were there were all chilled and nice (day time). Great feel to the place too and good prices. Worth a visit if you're in the area, and it's just up from a great Arty street.

Kipps opened at 16:30 on Thursday - we arrived 5 minutes after opening and it was already very busy. And we can see why.. We were going to have a pint here and then move on, but a combination of the selection of ales and the atmosphere led us to stay a lot longer.... Very enjoyable...

Fantastic range of "craft" and imported beer ( Bruge Zot Dubbel on draft) and ciders too at great prices. Food looked and smelt great so we went back for a Buddha bowl the following lunch time. Am looking forward to returning soon. We returned and had a great time during a long lunch. Thank you Andrew for running such a great place
