Have been to the venue twice now as my parents have recently moved to Folkestone and both times have really enjoyed the food. I love the venue it is so English and I love that they have a catch of the day and specials too. Our last visit was Christmas Eve and it didn't disappoint our waitress very good. I had the special which was a lamb shank dish and also had Merlot too and loved the dish. Cannnot wait for my next visit!

Absolutely love this place! Found it whilst pootling around town and was starving! Had the falafel and holoumi burger, mahooisve portion size and the beer was stunning. Great friendly staff who make you feel so welcome. Loved the banter with them all, stop building bistros and make more of these please x

Went for dinner (which I think is called lunch down this way) on Sunday just gone, now, being as this place was as far away from the glorious county of North Yorkshire as is physically possible within the realms of England's green and pleasant lands I was, needless to say, dubious. To my surprise, however, the atmosphere was gleaming and the staff couldn't of been more friendly and welcoming. The food was absolutley incredible, and you could taste the quality of the ingredients. Service was fast friendly and my partner wasn't judged, even when she ordered a second helping of pud pud. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Went to the Pullman for an evening meal mid week with my husband. Busier than expected for a Wednesday night, which is always a good sign, means it's good! Amazing home made food. Freshly prepared means that as I have food allergies they can advise you of what is actually in their food. We will definitely be back!

Lovely staff great atmosphere, good food. One of the best pubs in folkestone , maybe number one for me and a lot of my local friends , don't really go out to much in the week. But when I do it's the Pullman

Chose this place at random whilst away on a business trip. The staff were so lovely and the food was amazing. I'm a bit of a travelling foodie and the burger and steak were two of the best meals I've had in the UK. Everything about the evening was fantastic. Can't wait to find an excuse to come back. The management should be exceptionally proud of their waiting staff and kitchen staff. I highly recommend.

Cozy candlelight bar and restaurant with large outside sitting area. Several vegan options and draft beer. When something went wrong with the oven, we got a more expensive dish for the same price and they also offered us drinks as an apology. So very friendly staff!

We are coming here all over from London, 5 to 10 times a year. Just us or with the family. I can say that in the last few months, the fish and chips and the burgers menues were taken to another level. Well done, and keep up the good work.

Lovely pub, great atmosphere. The food was spot on. We had a large group reservation and we got a lovely private area for 42 people, they prepared really well, service was on point.

Lovely pub with excellent and enthusiastic staff, great service and incredible food. Huge portions and amazing vegan options. It really is testament to a good " fish " and chips when you have to break it open to check it really ISN'T fish..... fantastic sauces too. Brilliant.

There is a best place to eat pub food in Kent!!! ❤️ Absolutely love the fish and chips, lamb, beef, pie, and huge onions rings. Today my family has a lunch here. The best wishes to the staff!!! ❤️During the teachers' strike, there are many mothers with children here. And there are enough places for everyone

The Pullman is an absolute gem! Really clean and well decorated with friendly staff and a warm welcome, the beer garden is really pretty and private and a great spot to enjoy the amazing food on offer. The prices are reasonable with quite generous portions ( great when you are with two men over 6ft with healthy appetites!) we ordered the ham and eggs, fish and chips and one of their burgers. It was so lovely that we visited 3 times over a 4 day trip and will definitely return when we visit again in two weeks! It may even be my favourite Folkestone pub ( but keep it secret, I don’t want it to get so busy that they don’t have a table for me!)

Quality food, great service and selection of drinks. Highly recommended if you haven't been here before. Note - these wings are very messy! So grab a handful of napkins before!

Really nice place with great atmosphere, plenty of choice, delicious food and huge portions. However, I'm sorry to say they let themselves down by not saying there was no pork belly when they gave us the menus. Then later the salted caramel chocolate tart was not available having been substituted by coconut and chocolate. Not the same at all! Left 2 of us disappointed.

We set out looking for a traditional pub experience, and we were not disapointed! Wonderful atmosphere, beautiful garden and indoors area. The food was fantastic, i was particularly impressed by the vegan menu (i chose too starters instead of a main meal from it and was very satisfied). Would cone again!

Lovely little place! Food was amazing.. was told the food would be a little longer than expected as the kitchen was busy but in my opinion it was perfectly timed to when I would expect it anywhere else. Staff here were excellent and very polite and knowledgeable a credit to the place

Tends to get very crouded on Fridays, but there's also a garden with outdoor seating out back. The beef Croquettes, Halloumi fries and chunky chips were very good, but the salt and pepper squid was bland and the Fried Veg was only fried cauliflower that was still quite hard. Overall I liked the pub despite the 50/50 food.
