Incredible local food, including lots of locally caught seafood, and lovely views across the harbour. Came for lunch so it wasn't too busy, and service was excellent. I ordered the trout with a side of creamy mash and it couldn't have been cooked better! Absolutely delicious, even the mash is to di
An absolutely delightful solo lunch, tasty food, perfect service. I keep on talking about this place, the atmosphere was great, nice views…one of my favourite fish restaurants out of London! You won’t be disappointed!
Another super dinner. Hosted clients. They loved it, we loved it. Sun was just going down, tide was out, beautiful evening. 9 of us sat down for dinner. Food was excellent and service was tip top, the waiters knew everything even what the art in the harbour was. We enjoyed the Gusbourne Bubbles and
Great location overlooking the small harbour. The food was very good, we went for the Sunday roast, which sounds boring but it was perfect. Parking can be a problem, and we would advise booking ahead. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Some reviews have been a little negative but we enjoyed our e
We had booked Saturday dinner and also an overnight stay in one of the rooms. The room check in was quick and room all positive,. Food was delicious as was the ambience and location. We ordered wine unfortunately the wrong bottle was brought this was queried but changed quickly. When paying the bill

The food was divine as usual. Haddock fishcake starter was bigger than needed. Hubby chose scallops which were succulent. My husband and I shared the sea bream, which was served whole but deboned. So tasty. Dessert was the chocolate delice, blackcurrant sorbet and vanilla cream. It was a triumph of
The food is simply amazing! The staff very professional and kind. Inside the whole length of the restaurant is in glass and you can dine (at lunch) looking the tide grow inside the bay. Fantastic! I came back and I can confirm again the great experience. The food delicious and amazing service, the
Excellent modern British food with a seafood focus. The dining room enjoys stellar harbour views, and the food is very good indeed. Prices are reasonable given the quality and service was excellent. Well worth visiting.
Lovely food, *very* lovely Sicilian white wine. The stand-out thing for me was the politeness and efficiency of the waitresses - I kept saying to myself "what have I done to deserve this?"
Great restaurant. Food was delicious. Caring and attentive staff. Had breakfast too as we were staying in one of their rooms. We had a delicious English breakfast. Room was nice, although the bathroom put it down. Really small. When booking I paid an extra that said to be for room sea view and bath
This is a review for the restaurant- We sat on the upper floor with a view overlooking the harbour. We had Barbeque menus - scallops, prawn and buratta salad with grilled veggie. Didn’t expect much given the prime location of the restaurant, however the foods pleasantly suprised me! Scallops particu
My husband and I came to stay here in April for the first night of our honeymoon based on finding it on the Michelin Guide. The service from the start was lovely, the man checking us into the room was very nice and showed us all the way to our door. The room was very comfortable with a lovely shower
Had Sunday lunch and stayed in one of the rooms with breakfast. Food was excellent. Staff were lovely and good service. Great view over the harbour. Rooms were small but cosy and to a good standard. Recommend both the food and as a place to stay
