We were a party of seven ladies celebrating a birthday two weekends ago. We had a table on the second floor in the evening. The food, service and atmosphere were excellent - we enjoyed every second and highly recommend this wonderful place with fantastic staff!!!!

First visit but very happy we decided to pop in with the dogs. The staff were really friendly, great atmosphere and really liked the refurbishment. Decided to have some lunch I had the scotch egg , it was superb. My husband had the squid and said it was the best he had eaten in a very long time. Planning to come back without dogs for an evening meal.

If you want a really good meal, with excellent service. You can't do better than The Harbour Inn Folkestone. This evening for four people we all had a great time, with an excellent meal, served by Sam, our waitress. Sam couldn't do more for us to help with all our needs. Thank you Sam, and the chief for an excellent meal. The owner and his wife of the Inn, has given it such a new look it is a completely different to what it was. Congratulations to you both. The Fletcher party. 20/05/2018.

Had a great Sunday roast of belly pork, meat was very tasty, veg cooked lovely and the roast potatoes were gorgeous. Asked for another pot of gravy , staff were very accommodating and didn’t mind at all . Sat upstairs which we enjoyed as was quieter . Would certainly return

WOW well what can i say? me and the mrs came for our anniversary meal and was presently surprised. I ordered the crab for my main, and i can say they are certainly not 'shellfish' with there portion sizes! i definitely wanst left feeling 'crabby'! my wife doesn't often eat fish so i gave her a minute to 'mullet' over! in the end she went for the mixed shellfish - i always said i liked a girl with 'mussells'! unfortu i was then thrown out for expoing my 'winkle'! only joking! on a serious note, i thank 'cod' we have a proper seafood (i like to 'see food' - in my belly!) resteraunt in folkestone now. 5/5 Star(fish)!

Lovely venue for a cozy meal with my partner. Great to see this place open for more desirable people and not the local drunks. I liked the fact that screaming children are not allowed in the bar area after 18:00, but are allowed in the restaurant. The staff were very accommodating for our needs, due to certain issues I have. As for the food, it was tasty and came out hot and cooked just the way I like duck. I'd totally recommend anyone going there.

First time visiting and was keen to see what everyone was talking about! From the time we went in the manager was so attentive and helpful, staff behind the bar were very friendly and welcoming! The food was served very quickly and was piping hot and very tasty! Dogs allowed as well so that's a bonus- will definitely be visiting again!

Really nice pub situated close to the waterfront. Good seating indoor and outdoor area. Not a huge menu but a selection of fresh seafood. I would recommend the prawns and fish and chips, but not the scotch egg I tried. Good drinks on tap too.

THE BEST FISH AND CHIPS IN THE LAND! When you take your first mouthful you truly believe that you can fly - the fish was presented so well and each element just as good as the last - starting with the succulent fish to the minty mushy peas, all down the hatch in a matter of minutes, cannot recommend enough!

We stopped here on the way through and had one of the nicest pub dinners in ages. The sausage and mash was delicious, served with greens, onions and amazing gravy. The fish and chips was great too, really nicely battered and all good sized portions. Food service was quick too. If you’re in the area then this place is a great option for food and drinks.

I've been here quite a few times now as it's a good pub and is nicely placed right by Folkestone Harbour. There is always a nice selection of beers on offer with some unusual ones that you don't often see in other pubs. There is also a nice, chilled atmosphere with good music playing in the background and candles slowly flickering on the tables. It has a definite charm and the food is amazing. There is an outside seating area to the side of the building which is good for those warmer evenings or afternoons. It can get pretty busy at times though as it does seem popular.

I visited the Harbour in last month and had a very good experience. The food came out very quickly and the service was fantastic. There was initially an issue with the amount that we ordered. However Tom did a great job of sorting it out. I would definitely recommend this pub. The fish and chips were great!

We were on a coach holiday & was recommended this place by a resident staying at the hotel near by & they recommended the Mussels which me & mom had with bread & fries washed down with a nice cold leffe blonde. The food was excellent & so was our waiter Tom who was a pleasant young man & he made the last evening of our holiday a funny one. The pub itself had a quirky smugglers theme to it which made it an all enjoyable evening

After a cold costal walk, the perfect place to warm up. Roaring fire, Fresh seafood and Lovely hot chocolate (made with real chocolate!). Exceptionally welcoming and knowledgeable staff, they made our visit.

Overall, the place was great, with a beautiful sea view and a cozy atmosphere. The food was delicious and had many options for a Pub. Most of the staff were friendly and welcoming, but one waiter was unfriendly hopefully she just had a bad day not she is raciest . Still, the issue was quickly resolved thanks to Tom House. I recommend this place despite the one unpleasant encounter.

I would have given the place a strong five stars although, because of our experience with one of the waiters who was very unfriendly, aggressive and apparently she doesn’t like her job. Otherwise, the location was great with a sea view, and the atmosphere was quite cosy has a warmth to it. The food was very tasty and had a lot of options for a Pub, which I was delighted with. All the other staff were amicable and welcoming, and even when I mentioned the incident to them they took action immediately thanks to Tom House.

Enjoyed a meal here with family. Unfortunately a couple of issues with the cabbage that accompanied two of the meals was under cooked. The Inn was fairly busy and a little loud. We had, Fish n Chips, Burger, sausage and mash, plus steak n ale pie. The waitress was polite.
