Really good food. Staff very friendly in the bar and restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. Tables laid well and food came out on lovely warm plates. The seafood linguini had loads of flavour and plenty of fish. We would definitely recommend
A warm welcome always awaits you at the cliffe. My recent visit was for late night cocktails with four of my girlfriends. The best in town! The bar staff are really accommodating and will do their best to make you your perfect cocktail even if it’s not on the menu. Thanks again and we will see you again soon. 😊
Me & Hubby went to the Cliff Restaurant n folkestone yesterday we shared a classic cream tea ....it was lovely .... sandwiches were very fresh & the cakes were lovely

Had a Fantastic Lunch SUNDAY 23rd January 17..
Started with a lovely bottle of red wine to my starter of Soup with a poached egg..
And my friend having a lovely salad.
This was followed by us both having Beef medium rare..carrots ,cauliflower cheese, green beans, and roast potatoes..absolutely Gorgeous.
Followed by Christmas pudding custard and butter cream ..and Tart and thick cream..
Then coffee ..
I must say from Steve and John our waiter the staff are a credit to the Management of the Cliffe hotel. .
I can definitely recommend the food and ambience of the Cliffe Hotel as outstanding. .

Perfect steak! Nice ambience, friendly staff, great food. Couple of small issues with the service but not enough to drop to a 4 star. We really loved it and will be back.
We had the best Valentines meal ever! Staff were friendly and professional, food was amazing, Love On The Leas cocktail was superb; really a fabulous evening; we'll definitely be back! Thank you so much! Xx
Visited several months ago as a party of 4 with family. Everyone ordered different mains and all of them were amazing. The lamb shank was especially nice. Only minor flaw was the slightly overly attentive waitress. Other than that, perfect evening!

We had never heard of the place before as we are only down for the weekend but I can say my husband throughly enjoyed it and as it was one of his birthday meal over time here we would definitely come back nice service and the little waitress was truly sweet would recommend

We come to this place regularly and our experience is always positive.Staff are always kind and the atmosphere is very friendly .Recently I tried the Decadent Chocolate Mousse with Raspberry sorbet and it was absolutely delicious.
We had a lovely lunch in the bar part of the restaurant. Lots of good selections of tapas. My favorite were the calamari and chicken wings. We came on New Year’s Eve which was a Tuesday. They advertised 2 for 1 Happy Hour but did not honor this advertisement because of New Year’s Eve! This was disappointing since I can’t understand why Happy Hour wasn‘t possible. We also paid 75£ for Christmas Eve dinner which included dinner plus entry into the party. The dinner was average and it was disappointing that there were no New Year‘s decorations (no balloons, hats, etc). We were handed champagne at the very last second before clock struck midnight and it felt rushed and not properly planned. DJ played good music but there were not many people and only a few danced...this made the party atmosphere not so „party-like“. Not sure I would celebrate NYE at this venue but would definitely eat at the restaurant again.
It's started to feel like quite a trendy place to hang out in Folkestone! Ok, maybe the decor is trying a bit too hard, but it's nice to feel sparkly sometimes isn't it?! Great range of cocktails, well-prepared by lots of helpful staff and some nice bar snacks choices.
Customer services in this bar/restaurent was the best I have experienced in a long while. We were looking for something to eat (one us had a dog so we were looking for dog friendly bars /restaurents ) early Sunday evening near the Leas in Folkestone, harder than you may think. After looking for a good while we walked in the Cliffe Hotel where the dog walker was staying and asked if it was possible to have something to eat? It wasn't possible in the bar/resturant area however the manager on duty the evening of 30th April thought quickly and laterally set us up in a corner of the big lobby area which was fine. Food and wine was bought to us from the restaurent which was across the hallway. We had a very enjoyable few hours and wanted to acknowledge a happy positive "yes we can" verses a "sorry we can't" restaurant manager. A big thank-you to the Sunday afternoon/night restaurent team at the hotel.

Gorgeous place for Sunday afternoon lunch and a pint by the sea. Delicious seafood linguine with a very generous portion of mussels and clams. Lovely terrace with social distancing in place. Excellent service from Hanka!

Drinks and tapas with a view!
Such a fab place to come for a spot of alfresco nibbling on the terrace. We stop off here regularly for afternoon drinks with friends or a pitstop when walking the dog. All the staff are charming and friendly.
Lovely drinks and food. Good service as well. Only downside is the long wait for cocktails... But good things need time.

Unbelievable Burger. We stopped off for lunch today and I was wonderfully surprised with how amazing there bacon burger and chips was... I'd say the best around! Will definitely be heading back and hope to go for dinner 🤩
