Gordon Castle Walled Garden Cafe - Fochabers - Photo album

Our second visit to these wonderful gardens, and we will keep coming back for more. The gardens themselves are beautifully kept, with a vast variety of flowers, plants, fruit, and veg - and a large lavender field, and two wildflower meadows, and more. The café (closed on a Monday and Tuesday) offe
What a beautiful place! But a lot of work! Too bad we missed most of the blooming flowers, but we still found some beautiful blossoms. Besides, there were ripe apples and pears and zucchini and pumpkins. We take beautiful ideas for our garden back to us in Germany. Many greetings!
We recently got married in the Walled Gardens, followed by our meal and dance in the Walled Gardens restaurant. The entire day from start to finish was outstanding, the venue absolutely stunning and the restaurant transformed into a cosy, elegant seating area for our meal, and dance floor large eno
Only had a coffee here, but it was an extremely hot day and the iced latte was SO delicious and needed! Plenty of ice too! And oat milk was available. Given a table in the shade even though we hadn't booked. Lovely friendly service.
The road to access is narrow with two-way traffic, but beautiful scenery. Plenty of parking with large parking spaces. The garden itself is really well maintained and laid out, with a vast array of plants, flowers, trees, fruits and vegetables. It's a really pleasant walk with a little grass maze an
Loved this walled garden so much. Really nice vegetable and flower beds. Relaxing atmosphere and great staff.
Great tranquil spot to enjoy the garden fresh food. Roasted courgette pea and basil soup was delicious! Fantastic news that the café is now dog friendly, so if the weather turns, you can dine inside too.
What a delightful place! Such beautiful gardens and a hearty bowl of Cullen Skink!! The cafe has a calm atmosphere and has half set aside for those with dogs! Lots to love!!
Very nice restaurant right on beach with good eating. Reasonable prices. Great view of beach , sea and sunsets. Has to park a few hundred yards away in summer as it is in a caravan park. We have been a few times, and will go again
This is a great place, the cafe is fab with great cakes and good coffee sat outside. I Would fully recommend a visit and a walk around.
Stopped only for a spot of lunch. Pot of tea for two and two rounds of sandwiches. Pot of tea came quickly, unfortunately it was luke warm and didn't brew. Our sandwiches eventually came after 45 min wait. Asked for another pot of tea for two and informed the staff to make sure water had been b
Steak pie was delicious. I don't normally manage to finish a plate, but it was too good not to. The play area doesn't look much. However, the children had an amazing time, their imagination ran wild 😊
Enjoyed a quick run around the garden even though at this time of year there isn’t a lot to see! Kids enjoyed the playground and climbing on the mounds. Will pop back in the summer for another look. Access road and signage needs work though, hard to tell you at the main entrance given it’s condition
Eating in the cafe that serves fresh food from the garden is definitely a worthwhile experience. It is refreshing after touring the garden and it's history, and there is even fresh produce to purchase once you finished your meal.
A magica place even when all plants are flowerless. Best quality in all their food, from starters to dessert, as they use mostra their fruit and vegetables. Very helpful and kind staff, we shall return very soon!!
