Nice little place. Rooms are very small but cosy. Pet friendly šŸ‘ gutted the kitchen was shut when we came, but continental breakfast was adequate with plenty of options. Would stay again.
Visited Easter Sunday for dinner. Easy access as my daughter is in a wheelchair. Staff so friendly and helpful. The young lad serving us a credit to the pub. Food was really nice. Very busy as Easter but didn't wait too long. Would definitely recommend and return when in the area.

What a lovely pub! I remember going as a young child and it always having lovely food. Now the new owners seem to be keeping up with traditions. The food was lovely, homely scrumptious pub grub! The staff were very friendly and happy to help.

We visited on a whim for a bite to eat and it was amazing. Matt was so attentive and entertained the kids AND the dog! We had two adult sandwiches and two kids meals which were all delicious! The kids also raved about pudding! Would 100% visit again.

Just been for a meal at the Anchor and Hope Pub, would recommend great quality of customer service from Matt. Meals are first class. Our compliments to the chef. Will definitely return again. Friendly also pets welcome here
