Popped in for a bite to eat after a wander round the Aviation Museum and oh my! What a treat! Only a carvery available but it was one of the best I've had in a long time. Really welcoming and friendly staff, delicious food, reasonably priced and a lovely venue. Love the decor and a massive beer garden (with bonus views of the planes). Will definitely visit again!

Best place By Far, in the area for a really great carvery roast. Very nice pub with friendly and efficient staff, professional service. The young boy at the carvery station was so polite and welcoming. Food was really yummy, high quality and fresh. Sure I've could get a cheaper meal elsewhere, but you get what you pay for and here is with the small extra on the bill for a great experience.

Visited for Sunday lunch after a wander round the aircraft museum next door - team gave us a table in the bar with our two dogs despite not having booked - carvery was great, team very friendly and welcoming to us and the dogs. Recommend if visiting the area. Lots of parking, enclosed garden overlooking the planes.

Went for Sunday dinner and was surprised to find a carvery on offer. Was dubious as not had one for about 20 years but it was amazing. 3 meats on offer, loads and loads of sides. Although we went late in the day (5pm) all super fresh and well stocked. We had booked which is probably advisable. Also planes in the garden (no joke) are awesome!

A beautiful old pub newly renovated. The food is great and the service is superb. Nothing is too much trouble. We can't wait to visit again.

Sunday lunch today with my friends, it was our first visit and I have to say it was the most wonderful food, the log fire was welcoming and the staff and whole atmosphere was excellent. Well done it is very apparent that you all put a lot of care and thought into everything you do. I can't wait to come back

Brilliant country pub with a modern rustic vibe. The staff are amazing and really make you feel welcome. Great selection of drinks and the best food I have ever tasted. The high ceiling makes it feel spacious. The bar area is great if you're feeling social and the snug is perfect for a more cozy experience. It can really feel like a second home.

I've been meaning to try this Pub/Restaurant for some time since seeing a FB post. Returning from a days drive south my wife and I called by around 1900. It was quiet but extremely welcoming. Met by a huge Buck Rabbit statue inside the door. Bar staff offered great service and provided menus including most importantly a Gluten free version - of the dishes, not the actual menu! There was some discussion on what was available with GF and we opted for a 'normal' and a GF version of the chicken burger. It was served fairly quickly, cooked well and clearly wasn't some pre-packed version as other pubs might offer. The burger was served with fries and a great tasting mayo. Dessert was again a GF option - aiming bakewell with custard......made by the pub. Over all a lovely experience, great service, superb food. We will be back very soon. Thanks.

Beautiful pub and see the old planes from the picturesque garden. Lovely old building renovated to perfection. Very clean and excellent toilets. We had the paella and the jumbo prawns were cooked to perfection. Lovely, welcoming bar / waiting staff. They have a children's menu and were very good with my daughter. The only draw back was there was a long wait for food but the waitress did apologise as there was an issue in the kitchen, she kept us updated without the need for us to complain. Overall we had a very pleasant experience and I shall most certainly return.
