A traditional pub of two halves - the upper bar area and a lower restaurant... though you can eat in the bar area.
Menu has a good range of classics as well as specials - we had a chicken schnitzel and a monkfish stew .. rare to find this fish on a menu and it was delicious.

Really pretty pub, food was lovely, however i ordered the beef melt and it was extremely small. 2 slices of beef with melted cheese on the smallest slice of toast. It does come with a very small portion of chips, but I did expect more for the price.

Had such a lovely meal yesterday. 2 of us had the brunch menu, delicious. The rest of us had the brassiere menu, also delicious. Every time I have visited have alway had a really lovely meal with everything cooked to perfection. We sat in the bar area which is just as nice as the restaurant area.

Beautiful village pub, very peaceful, staff are very friendly and accommodating. Dogs are allowed. The owners dog says hello to everyone and loves a belly scratch! The menu is great, with 30% off all food on Wednesdays and Thursdays! Will be going back to sample their Sunday lunch menu and breakfast
Lovey pub staff very welcoming. The food was lovely and the decor was beautiful! I wish there were lighter options on the Sunday menu as I don't always want a big meal - but that's just my preference.
