A cracking little pub this. We moved to the area last year and have frequented this place a number of times since including popping in for a few daytime drinks, a couple of times on a Saturday night to watch some live bands and most recent a few weeks ago we took my 4 yr old and had lunch outside on

We had my hen do here...landlord was more then happy for us to use side room and decorate it. Great evening with live music, excellent prices too. Friendly pub with lovely staff.

We love it. Since moving to Ancells Farm last year we go here every week. Saturday nights are great fun with live music and staff are all so friendly. It’s a traditional pub but there is no animosity to new comers, all are welcome.

Just had the best night here !! Band was amazing, the locals were a good laugh but the land lady was absolute quality. They ran out of brandy and she went out and bought more !!!! Defo recommend this pub for a great night out in a friendly pub without the grief that normally is associated with that

Lovely friendly pub that I have missed so much over the pandemic. Staff were always friendly, polite and happy to serve you. Pool table + snacks are good and the pub is cosy and warm. Conveniently right by the local shops and cricket green. A place I’m happy to visit whenever I can 😁🍻

Best pub in town if you want to meet people and talk at a sensible level, without shouting into each others ears! Some of the pubs on the High Street get too loud for me, but then I'm not 20 anymore!
