Lovely pub to have lunch with family. Great size, fantastic decor and charm. Decent food, and the chef even agreed to cook our daughter's chicken nuggets so they looked similar to a famous high street brand in order to encourage her to eat them. Staff brought drinks to our table as well once we'd
Service 10/10 friendly and warm people. Pub environment was 10/10. Plenty of space with tables inside and outside. Fish and chips was very good 8/10 Maple glazed pork belly 7.5/10 Deserts: Apple crumble 9/10 Chocolate bomb 11/10. I cannot recommend it more. This desert is on another level!
Not the cheapest of places, we spent about £40 a head with a main, dessert and a pint each. The food is very good though and I can highly recommend the roast belly pork. Parking is free if you remember to input your reg on the tablet at the bar.

Service was outstanding! We had Khoa as our server and he was lovely and very efficient. The food came out quickly and tasted marvellous. Would definatly come again! Would recommend having the scallops, linguine and a chocolate bomb!!!!!
Fabulous wait staff. Food not bad. Room for improvement though. Steak not the most flavourful and crackling with pork belly was not really edible. Overall though we had a nice lunch.
Service was good and attentive. Scallops starter was amazing. But the steak was disappointing. Ordered bone in ribeye steak but served with a normal ribeye steak instead. The waiter changed it but a bone in sirloin was served. It was overcooked not medium rare. Quality was so so. The sides were not
My Wife and I like the Oatsheaf as a pub and consider it our ‘ Local’ . The staff are great and the range of drinks and it’s position in the town mean it’s very popular. That said we haven’t eaten there for a couple of years . That will now change . We tried the ‘ Wine and Dine Experience’ and
Lovely Sunday roast. Staff are very friendly.
