If I could give them more stars I would, they’ve been amazing all the way from the get go. From all the dietary requirements: gluten free, low fodmap, vegan, best friend is lactose intolerant, allergic to shellfish, guest with an unsafe swallow, and many more! They were so patient and we came up with ideas together. Even when we were going to ride in with a steam engine! They were able to park (for all you steamies out there)! The food was amazing and everyone always had a drink it was like they read my mind as I never had to ask for anything it was all sorted! All the staff are lovely and helpful and they put my mind at ease. Would ABSOLUTELY recommend them!!!!! Totally going back especially for the year anniversary with a steam engine....maybe our own? ;)

Fantastic service - really wasn’t expecting such a high level of service and food was really nice too. Only thing that wasn’t perfect was the dessert - jam sponge was a bit underdone but honestly recommend so much!!

We live in Kent but have been there on many occasions as my mother in law is in a Care home near by. We take her there often for lunch. She is 96 and uses a walking frame they have an entrance with no steps the disabled toilet is always clean. Most of all the welcome is warm the service is excellent and the food is never disappointing. We did have a slight problem with one of our meals yesterday but staff sorted straight away and we went on to enjoy our meal. Keep up the good work

Dog friendly. We were even given a free roast for the dog. Lovely Sunday roast and very good value. Beef nicely cooked with a good portion of veg, plenty of gravy and horse radish. The cauliflower cheese is included and so too the red cabbage and apple. The latter adding a nice colour and taste to the roast. Warm friendly service, we even returned for the pub quiz and curry night later that week.

I visited today with a friend for lunch. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. A cosy warm atmosphere in the pub. The menu offers a good choice of food with a separate specials menu. I choose a steak and ale pie with mash and veg which came with a jug of gravy. It was very delicious. My friend choose a different pie but we were both very happy and satisfied with our meals. We didn't have a dessert because we were both very full. We will be returning to sample sonething else on the menu.

Lovely place, really nice atmosphere. I left my bag there and they were super cool about it, answered the phone promptly and had it waiting for me when I returned. Would definitely go back.

*Dog friendly* At a very reasonable £10.95 you get a Sunday roast with all the trimmings and a roast dinner bowl for your dog. The staff and pub are not just dog friendly but true dog lovers and happy to bestow that love onto your pooch. And why th op 9🐩🐩e hell not!!! Definitely going back. This has become our new Sundàyr

We were part of the group that were there for the wake after a funeral, Staff were friendly and obliging, ensuring there was enough food for everyone and drinks were served quickly, so ideal for what everyone needed at a sad time.
