I was looking for a burger joint while I was staying in Fleet and this place popped up on my search.
I have been to Fleet many times and skimmed over places like this in the past and what a fool I was as this place is a right little gem.
The food is excellent I was after a burger but went for the mixed grill and it did not disappoint I also had one of the delicious shakes to wash it down and that was one of the best shakes I've had in my life my only complaint was I couldn't eat more of the great food.
See you next time I am in Fleet 👍
First time trying tonight and I must say amazing food, well cooked, service was great too, I walked in ordered easy, they told me 15mins so sat in the car out back and as I was going to collect the guy was already bringing it out to me. Would recommend and I'll be going again
The food was generally quite nice and the portions plentiful. The meat was a tad fatty for my liking but the flavour was good.
Service was approximately 20 minutes so quite slow considering it was quite empty, we ordered two new Gees wraps and two kids nuggets meals. One member was helpful with helping with us taking away our leftovers.
Atmosphere was quite flat, was half empty, which is fine, but sticky tables and the blender going off every few minutes at ear splitting volumes didn't make it a pleasant experience whilst waiting for food and eating.
Toilets nice and clean though.
Nice food with authentic looking Greek additions to the menu. Hummus was lovely as was the Greek style bread. Cost wise the Greek style food is £6.50 upwards burgers not far off the same price.
Only criticism is lack of knowledge around ingredients in the food so challenging to order if you have good intolerances/allergies.
Have to say, thoroughly impressed. Easy to order online and collect as we're local. Ordered the Chicken Yeero with a side of onion rings. The chap who served me was very polite and friendly. Food was fab, thought we would get in the mood for our upcoming holiday to a Greek Island!
Would recommend & will be returning!
Wow! Literally the best take away I've experienced in a long time. The food is so tasty and the portion size are perfect.. The chicken and lamb wraps/yeeros are incredible, the chips are cooked to perfection and the milkshakes are amazing.
THIS PLACE IS SOOOOOOO GOOD!!!! If you’re near by 100% give this place a try - I go every time I’m in Fleet. The food is prepared with so much care and love and really captures exactly what you want when you think “Greek food” ☺️💞🇬🇷
I had lamb yeeros and chicken yeeros and a burger , the quality was amazing and excellent value for money .
Very friendly staff, remembered us after the 1st visit, always welcomed back with a smile.
We go for the desserts, but the food is nice too. Waffles are the BEST!!
Would recommend, will go again.
We went to eat this afternoon for the first time. Fantastic service really professional and courteous. We had a beautiful meal. I had a chicken burger with lots of different toppings for no extra cost. My husband had a bacon and cheese burger. We shared chips cooked to perfection. The staff made the experience the waiter was really friendly and attentive. Really great atmosphere and very clean.
Amazing place to eat with family love the Greek food
Lovely and clean place . Staff are amazing and so happy and helpful
Will definitely go again
Lovely food, burgers were juicy! However, the milkshakes are to die for! Very happy pregnant lady🤣😍 I had the Ferrero Roche!
Visited first time today. Was amazed by taste will come back for sure.....friendly staff and awsome music at backround.....
Been to the restaurant a few times and had food delivered a few times too. Food is fantastic, my favourite is the chicken Yeeros wrap. Big big portions, good service and friendly staff. Parking close by Highly recommended.
Absolutely outstanding food quality, yesterday we had lamb and chicken wrap everything was fresh and delicious, home made tzatziki is brilliant. We also tried the sweet potato fries! OMG so crispy and soft in the same time. Today I’m here again for some lunch:)
The staff is very polite and kind. Music is a nice touch too.
Not what it once was. After the original Gee had to close the doors, I believe one, maybe two people have owned the place since. The latest owner has turned the restaurant from one of the best independant burger bars in Hampshire to a Greek Restaurant/Kebab shop... that also happens to serve burgers because that is what the place is known for.
On my latest visit, had a burger and loaded fries. Loaded fries were excellent as they had always been, but the burger patty itself was devoid of the quality that Gees was always known for in my book.
Don't get me wrong, everything else about the burger was great - - buns, sauce, toppings. But to have a patty in there that you would have expected from a kebab van on the street just seemed like an insult to the burger (and the Gees brand). In my opinion, meat of that standard is not worth the asking price of almost £9.
I must stress that I have not eaten any of the Greek food there yet and will return to do so I am sure. But unless things change, and the quality of meat is restored, I've eaten my last burger from Gees.
Edit: Everything I've had from their Greek menu is fantastic, definitely go for the Greek food! Top notch and in my experience very authentic. I've not revisited the burgers but now I go to Gees for the Greek!
Me and my friend go here most weeks…. The staff are so friendly and the food is amazing and at a great price too. Great portion sizes too!
