We visited the Gurkha Inn on a Sunday afternoon for father's Day. Wow!!!! Great food, lovely decor and friendly, attentive staff. I left his restaurant feeling very happy indeed. What more could you ask for. 100% recommend š
The Timur lamb curry had plenty of flavour but very mild compared with curries at some other restaurants rated as ātwo chillisā. Large modern restaurant. Drinks were expensive.
Staying next door and fancied a mixed kebab with nan. I ordered the appetizer mixed kebab; 2 x seekh kebab, 3 x pieces of tandoori chicken & 3 x creamy chicken tikka, plus a garlic nan and a beer = 25 quid including service. The food was a solid 8/10.
Went there with my husband and daughter for a belated birthday meal. Very kind courteous and attentive staff, food was really good, there was a large party there and lot's of babies and toddler's, which the manager spoke to us about before booking, it was nice to see a happy family atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will definitely be going back. Very happy customers. Thank you.
I was staying in Fleet for business and this restaurant was right next door to my hotel.
What can I say, spent 2 nights in this place and it blew me away. Everything about my experience at this restaurant was 5 star. Food, service and atmosphere were fantastic.
First night I had Grandmaās chicken curry and I can honestly say itās the best curry I have ever had.
Second night I had the honey murug which is like a mix of Chinese curry sauce and Indian Korma. Absolutely delicious.
I highly recommend this restaurant. A+++
came here for a birthday this evening and was amazed with the quality of the food. the nepalese chilli chicken starter and chicken momos were absolutely exceptional and the curries are incredibly tasty. we sampled quite a large part of the menu as a family, and everything we ate and tasted was delicious. not a single complaint. the portion sizes are huge as well and the service we received was perfect.
we will definitely be visiting here again. thank you for a lovely evening :)
Best dinner I had on fleet with my friends lovely atmosphere. Very lovely staff and helpful too. They have variety of option in terms of curry
Great food, friendly service. Manager passionate about the food, describes menu and recommends various dishes for you to try. Everything we ordered was a hit. Restaurant very well decorated with nice inset lighting and fish swimming under the floor in reception! Lots of tables and space for big parties.
Wow! Fantastic and I mean Fantastic food, complimented with some excellent beer plus, the staff are great, really helpful. Lastly, great value for money! Highly recommended šš»
Absolutely delicious authentic Nepalese food. Probably the best take away weve had from this area. The Kathmandu lamb curry was incredible! And the momos delicious. Highly recommend.
One of the most amazing experience with the environment and food we had . The Nepalese environment which totally influences the feel of authentic values of nepal with the place and the food itself . I also had sushi which is one of the best part of attraction.
I love this place and the fish which I saw at the entrance.
Outstanding Restaurant! To start, probably the best looking Indian/Nepalese restaurant Iāve been to, with very eye catching fountain and fish tanks š Then, the poppadoms were brilliant and thick and the food was all just brilliant. I will definitely be going back. The Ā£24.99 deal is great, as you get a pint and 3 courses for very little considering the quality you get šššš very very Ramro
Amazing food very nice service from Mr Juyen Magar will definitely come againš„š„š„š
Open seven days a week, including bank holidays, Ghurka Inn is not only convenient, but an absolute oasis of peace and gracious hospitality. The sleek, elegant, contemporary interior features hand-carved wood panels, multicolored mood lighting, and a sculpted ceilingā¦ every last detail designed by an architect. But this restaurant is not all looksā¦ it really delivers in the culinary dimension as well. Our Chicken Momo were handmade at the moment we ordered them (we were warned that they would take 15 minutes), and those juicy orbs were worth the wait. Pyajko Pakora (known in Indian restaurants as Onion Bhaji) were crispy and freshly fried. Grandmaās Chicken Curry was a spicy introduction to Nepalese-style curries, but the real star of the menu was my companionās Tandoori Mixed Grill, which arrived sizzling on a cast iron platter, and was so generous that there was another whole meal remaining to enjoy at home as leftovers. Chicken, Lamb, and Jumbo Prawn had been marinated until totally tender, then seared at high heat in the clay oven until perfectly grilled, and served on a bed of flash-fried onions. Donāt miss the opportunity to wash it all down with a Cobra beer from the barā¦ itās served in a tall decorative glass, and itās peppery flavor complements the Nepalese food so well. Service was attentive but unobtrusive, and the whole experience was delightful from start to finish. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough for the next time you are in Fleet High Street.
Been a regular customer since knowing them. Never disappointed me at all. Food absolutely the best ever in fleet and dining is just too good. Spacious, Friendly and delicious food.
We cannot recommend highly enough. We wanted a special evening to celebrate a family occasion for a group of ten and The Gurkha Inn Fleet truly delivered. From the initial engagement with Kendra on email it was clear they valued our custom and wanted to excel, which they did. Our table was perfect, allowing the entire group to interact and the service throughout from the excellent team of waiters was so attentive. The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed. A big thank you to everyone at Gurkha Inn for making it such a memorable evening. This has become our number 1 choice for an Indian restaurant and we can't return soon enough!
