Lovely home cooked food
Just didn't get naan bread with curry as stated ... asked but they said she'd look but no update and curry was eaten by then
Lovely tho .. Great daily offers so not complaining.
We went yesterday (Kings Coronation) although it was busy we managed to get a table and it did not disappoint! It was lovely and clean, friendly staff and really good prices. The food was amazing we both had the Lasange with home made chips, salad coleslaw and garlic bread with a side of onion rings and we were so full. Will defo be back. 100 out of 10 x
Lovely service, very friendly staff. We went on a set menu night, 2 starters, 2 mains for £20, chosen from a small selection. The food was really nice, but the quantity overwhelmed me, not my husband he cleared his plate.
The beer was was kept really well and served perfectly.
Because of the pubs reputation for food they'd run out of certain things by the time we'd ordered our meals. The waitress informed us that because of this there would be no charge for our new choice of meals.
That food that came was perfect and great value for money.
Despite their protests, we paid for what we'd had and would definitely recommend anyone to eat here.
Just called in here and the meal was lovely. Waited in the bar and enjoyed a pint of Wainwrights until restaurant opened at 5. Waitress was lovely, very friendly. I ordered the Steak and Blue burger, my wife had the steak pie and chips. My meal was very enjoyable, had a taste of my wife’s pie (oo-er) which was just as nice.
Lovely traditional pub.
Sunday carvery is very popular.
You do need to book it in advance.
Only mark it 4 stars as there was no small carvery option for adults that can't or don't want to eat a full Suze adult meal
Stopped for a few pints with my dog. Plenty of outdoor and inside seating. Food smelt great and the staff were very lovely, old school decor and plenty of random things hung up to keep you amused :)
The staff here were so friendly. It really enhanced our short visit. We stopped by twice. First whilst we were waiting for our fish and chips from the chippy next door on the Friday night. Of all the pubs in the village this was the one we liked most so we came back again on Saturday afternoon and had a few sherberts in their beer garden after our clifftop walk. There was some very useful shade to sit under as it was a hot day.
Traditional pub very friendly staff and we tried the £5 each menu lovely food and just enough. In the bar area you can have dogs but if you want to go in the main dining room dogs are not allowed.
We had Sunday lunch here, carvery. I’m veggie so it was cheaper for me and simply no meat. Works for me, I love Yorkshire pud and vegetables! Boys enjoyed theirs too, with meat. Very friendly, dogs were happy. Lots of locals in, felt like a happy, social space. Boys visited again to watch football, again welcomed in and enjoyed their evening.
Best pub in Flamborough. We got there late and the lady still fitted us in so thank you . The service was excellent. We returned again the next day. We are back again in October.
Didn't get any food as we arrived too late but the atmosphere was lovely, staff were really friendly and made us feel welcome.
Despite an initial mix up with the booking 5 of us enjoyed a delicious family meal, generous portions, served promptly, followed by a singer who provided excellent entertainment. A good evening was had by all. The following day two of us returned to sample the Sunday carvery and we weren't disappointed. Thank you Ship Inn.
Amazing food and great atmosphere. Only stayed in the area for a week on holiday and came back here twice as the food was that good
Absolutely outstanding food and service. Highly recommend Sunday carvery and Wednesday pie night but book in advance as very popular 👍.
