Another superb meal for two at Copperfields. The chicken and ham pie was really tasty and the chips are the best. A big thank you to Jonathan and Karen!
The most scrumptious Sunday dinner I've had in a long time. Free home made soup to start with and you could tell from that first mouthful that you were in for a treat. The generous portion of lamb was so tender, the mash sublime. The vegetables were perfectly cooked and overall a lovely place. Obvio
Home cooked, large portions, exceptional prices. Best pastry I have ever tasted! Very warm welcome and good Yorkshire humour. Background music loud enough to hear but quiet enough to still be able to talk. Very popular so need to book.
Deliciously fresh cooked food. Best bread and butter pudding ever! Staff are most accommodating, nothing is a trouble to them. Oh and the music in the background is brilliant. 100% reccommend this friendly family run cafe.
We had heard many a great thing about Copperfields but never tried it until this weekend. All the great things you have heard..... All completely true. The cafe itself is very unassuming and it's almost a blink and you miss it sort of place (which is a good thing which I'll explain below) inside it'
One of the best eating experiences I've had, it was five star food, home cooked delicious and plenty of it!!! lovely staff ready with a smile and a joke, lovely background music to suit most tastes, and an excellent price, we will definitely go back!!!
We visited here on a Saturday lunchtime with friends who had been before and spoke highly of the food and the service. We were not disappointed. What can I say but wow wow wow. Everything was perfect in my eyes. No wonder you have to really book to get in. We were treated like old friends even though first visit. We genuinely hope we can get again even though we live miles away.
Very good, homely food served with a smile. And affordable !
