Great service and a great choice of meals. A break from the normal chain run pubs.
All meals we had were excellent and fresh. It was nice not to feel rushed between courses.
We will definitely go again.

1st visit for us and with friends, who have just moved to the locality. Fairly modern in appearance but with a pleasant vibe. Staff were friendly and efficient, our server was particularly good . A very comprehensive menu of mostly classic pub fayre, not fine dining but well cooked and tasty dishes
Really nice pub. Great place. Charming decor, lovely outdoors take a look. A word to the wise, have the 700 year old German beer.

Large car park was ideal as we don’t live local, a warm welcome from the staff greeted our arrival, inside the pub looked well kept, good choice of food (nothing fancy pants just traditional pub grub which I usually prefer
Best steak I've ever had. Very accommodating especially with us have dogs. And a good laugh with locals. Highly recommended

Had a cracking meal, first time to The Carpenters in 20 years we have visited and wasn't disappointed. Great service, friendly pub, brilliant food. Will be visiting again very soon!

Went for a diamond wedding anniversary dinner with friends recently. What a lovely dinner and atmosphere. Customer service was good, but we did get asked twice what we wanted to order. We pre-ordered weeks ago, so that was a bit concerning. Food though was spot on, hot, delicious mostly good portion
Came here the other night for some food with a friend and absolutely enjoyed it. Had the carbonara off the specials board and it was the best one i’ve ever had, would definitely have it again!!
