Table of 6, all different meals, everyone was happy with what they ordered, all tasty. There were several other big tables at the same time. Emma was cheerful and helpful. I didn't catch the name of the gent who served our food. Was a bit rushed as they were busy. But everything was well presented. The plates and bowls were very nice. Beer, wine and mocktails were had, all were very nice. Annoyingly I didn't take photos. Only had poppadoms and main dishes. Good size portions. It's not that local to myself, but I would happily return. Well done team.

Wonderful food, service and overall experience! The best (and also largest) king prawns, delicious curries, bahjis, side dishes and peshwari naan. We ordered more than we could eat as well as an alcoholic drink each, but leftovers came away with us. We will be back 🀩🀩🀩

We have recently moved to the area- this will definitely be our new go to takeaway/restaurant! Food was delicious and very generous portions. Very reasonably priced too. We brought out 4 momth old and they were very accommodating and she loved the waiter! Extremely friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend

We had an enjoyable Sunday lunch at Tajdar. Everything was so fresh and the service was excellent. The cost is so reasonable. I am surprised more people don't try it at lunchtime. It was our first time since our superb Christmas Dinner at Tajdar last year.

I have always been a bit apprehensive about trying new curries as I am not a massive fan of spicy food. However I looked at the menu and challenged myself to try something new and so I picked the Chicken Tikka Passanda. This dish was magnificent! The chicken tikka was moist and moreish with the creamy, slightly sweet sauce coating every mouthful of chicken. The dish was so flavourful I was thoroughly happy with my choice to try this dish. I was going to save some for lunch the next day but the food was so delicious I consumed the lot! The owners of the Tajdar were very helpful with narrowing down the less spicy curries and allowing me to ask any and all questions (no matter how silly). I have definitely decided to carry on trying new dishes from their menu but next I will be less apprehensive as I know I am in good hands with them! I look forward to my next dish.

I was staying at the hotel next door and was delighted to find a curry restaurant next door. It did not disappoint! I had a Bangladeshi chicken dish from their specials menu with mushroom rice (on the waiter's recommendation to go with the dish) and a garlic naan. The dish was superb, beautifully presented and plentiful! Service was excellent, this restaurant is a real gem tucked away in the Sussex countryside 😎
