The Greyhound Finchampstead - Finchampstead - Photo album

A nice place with a great selection of classic pub food. The staff were really friendly and service was efficient. The food was of a great quality.
Fabulous countryside pub, spacious and lovely inside with a big garden and decked area to the side. The team here goes the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and welcomed. Good menu with good vegetarian options. In connection with the pub there's also a very cute and well stocked farm shop. Ove
*dog friendly* bar area. Lovely meals, cocktails and great service at The Greyhound Finchampstead, as usual. Great spring menu - 2 or 3 courses, £21/ £24. Great food, and great value. Dog treats and water bowl waiting at our table. Love this place.
Fab food. Underrated place, should be packed given the quality of the food, decor, and ale! Really good.
Beautiful restaurant with a stunning outside area. Great food and fantastic service 😊 Vegetarian roast option was delicious 😋 Only improvement would be to make the menu clearly highlight the vegetarian and vegan options 🌱
Booked here for a birthday meal and checked reviews prior and certainly lived up to expectations. Ordered a few snacks to share for starters. We all Ordered beef Wellington x 6 as sharing between two it was cooked amazing and all sides accompanied this perfectly. Friendly and helpful service and man
Enjoyed a fantastic Saturday lunch, from start to finish everything was perfect. Treated by the wonderful attentive staff who gave menu recommendations that were greatly received! We went with two of the recommended specials - scallops and skate wing - both you could tell were cooked with care and a
Came here with a big group for a Sunday roast and was SO impressed! Our waitress was so friendly, helpful and the service was very quick. Food was really tasty with big portions, genuinely one of the best roasts i’ve had! Can’t wait to come back :-)
Our party had a few allergies between us which was no problem for the kitchen and we were provided with 3 delicious courses which were suitable to our various dietary requirements. I had the best plant based main ever I could happily eat and enjoy the gnocchi on a daily basis. Thank you See you aga
We went for brunch, the outside and inside of the pub are gorgeous! Especially the outside in the sunshine!! Today as its wintery we were inside, staff were super friendly and accomdating, prices are a little steep and for the brunch menu I would prefer a few more classic choices as it felt like mor
Very very impressive. Lovely atmosphere that somehow manages to get sophisticated gastro-pub and local boozer (done posh!!) in to the same pub. Excellent menu - verging on fine dining but down to earth enough that it’s not pretentious. Lovely wine list. Attentive swift service. It’s not cheap - £140
The restaurant is lovely and cosy. We had the duck beast and the plaice. Both were cook beautiful, although the plaice was quite rich, but nonetheless tasty. The salad and bread were good sides for the plaice. Would come again to try more of their tasty looking dishes
A magnificent place - delicious food on the 2 occasions I was there, great selection of beers and wines, and the staff are wonderful. I recommend trying the specials 100%, the kitchen knows how to put together delicious and unique dishes. Plenty of parking space, and also a beautiful village shop.
Superb! The food, service and general atmosphere is fantastic, would describe it as casual fine dining more than a pub. Children’s menu needs some work, but staff very accommodating with my sons fussy requirements.
Amazing food amazing service and atmosphere I took my father for his 85 birthday and he raved about his lamb shank and my hake was to die for ! I recently ate at the beehive in white Waltham which is nice but this is exceptional fabulous will definitely be back
Excellent service, great location and plenty of parking. We went with a large party for food and they accommodated us very well. The interior and atmosphere was great. The food was decent but pretty expensive (~£16per main dish). We’ll be returning in the near future.
Really lovely meal. Menu was a little different from usual pub menus which was great. Service was very attentive and friendly. Good choice of wine. Overall lovely evening
