We called last Saturday lunch time , just as Karen was opening up ,but never the less very soon rustled up a large pizza . We always use this very nice hideaway in the centre of town when in Filey. I have read some of the negative reviews and the outstanding positive one's.

This place has the best negative reviews I have ever read. They are brilliant and so funny, especially the contribution by Jason S! We were almost disappointed to have a really lovely time in probably the most sophisticated bar in Filey.
Had a fantastic night last night. Entertainment was outstanding. Popped in for food again today and welcomed back. The staff are really friendly and helpful especially the youg girl that brought us food today. See you again when we visit filey again next year. Craig and coleen.0
There is so much to say about this fabulous little jewel in downtown Filey. It sets itself up as an alternative to fish and chips shops and busy noisy pubs. It has attentive staff, excellent quality and well priced food and a great selection of drinks. We recommend the meat and cheese board.
We have lived in bridlington two years now. Every now and again we go to filey and have a drink at captain wills. It’s a lovely little bar never had a problem with any of the staff always ask how we are and general chit chat it’s all you want in a bar. Chantelle makes a fab gin and lemoncello.

Absolutely brilliant night on Saturday singer/comedian was fantastic such a cheeky chappie. We loved his jokes and song choice. He asked the audience what they’d like to hear to make it a good night for everyone

Wonderful tasty food, attentive staff and friendly personable manageress who had a conversation with us at the table and was friendly and down to earth. Clean well stocked ladies' loo. Could not recomment enough I would live in here if I was local!!
I have not eaten here as yet, so I can not comment, but it's a lovely cosy bar with good service and weekend entertainment 😀
Only stopped in for a quick drink, on a sunny and busy Bank Holiday Saturday. The welcome was very cordial, and they managed to squeeze us into a table. We weren't there long, but we enjoyed it.

Called in the bar Friday evening had a beer and ended up calling Saturday and Sunday, great staff magnificent food (limited menu) but delicious. No dogs adult bar and really good selection of beers .we will be back shortly.
Superb cafe/bar. Had a lunch time beer... perfect. Then a double espresso and a huge slice of amazing raspberry (homemade) cake! A server moved it on the counter... and I knew a slice had to be mine! No children are allowed.. so a good place to escape them if that's your thing!
