We visited last night, on a whim. We’ve only just read the reviews so had no prior recommendations. In truth, we really enjoyed the food. It had a traditional Chinese food taste. Good portion sizes too. The waitress was a little abrupt but I genuinely believe this is a cultural trait. In fact she had character and added to the spark of the atmosphere. She was actually very efficient! We won’t forget this meal and it was worth a visit!
While Visiting Filey we have gone in for dinner and ordered many different dishes, the food was delicious. We also received some fortune cookies and rice cakes.

Dined in quite few times also had take out numerous times, never been disappointed we will be dining in again very soon the lady who serves you gives you wrong impression she comes across as unsociable but she can be very nice to talk to an have a bit of banter if you take the step to engage in conversation with her, she's a bit reserved that's all bless her, 👍👍😁😁😁 p,s food an service very good 👍👍

I feel that many people have got the 'lady who serves' all wrong. At first she appears abrupt but if you look past that and engage in conversation, she's actually really pleasant and quite humorous.
This is now going to be my new takeaway hotspot and go to Chinese restaurant.
Great food, efficient service although it is cash only so be prepared, no card payments. Some other reviews mention the staff being curt but I actually thought this was a language barrier and our server was actually lovely.
I read with trepidation the reviews about the lady in the restaurant who was direct and abrupt when we first enquired about our table for 5 golfers. We went for a drink after being told "too busy, come back later," in no J certain terms. We returned unperturbed and had a most excellent time. The food was served quickly and hot. After 10 minutes chatter we got on extremely well with "the lady". Her manner will be taken badly by some but we had a great time. We gave as good as we got in a polite but direct way an we had her laughing out loud. Go with an open mind and interact with her and enjoy the food.
Beautiful food. Would of taken a picture, but it was so nice and I'm so greedy, that before I knew it I'd ate everything. Spring rolls were amazing
We were there un october 2019 for it wedding anniversary first break without kids and what a wonderful start to the weekend. The food was fantastic, fresh, tasty, worth every penny and the staff were so nice and friendly. Coming back as soon as we can.
Great food. Had a take away several times when visiting Filey. I was never disappointed. They use good quality ingredients and food tastes lovely. One of the best Chinese I've ever come across. They accept cash only so make sure you have some with you.

Had a takeaway last night from you it was divine delivery was quick food was hot and good value the best chicken curry I’ve had and I’m mid sixties so had a few well prepared and delicious best birthday meal I’ve had. Thank you
