C.j.'s Fish And Chips - Filey - Photo album

Amazing fish and chips, best we've had in a long time! Lovely cafe, friendly staff too. Only down side for us is that dogs are allowed (my husband is allergic) but that is what it is and not a problem on our visit. The "best" fish and chip shop in filey was closed. Glad it was, as it would have take
Outstanding, best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Fish was soft but not crumbly, batter was thick, crispy and really well seasoned, chips were lovely and brown (assume they are cooked in beef dripping?) and still soft in the centre. Even the curry sauce was delicious, fruity but not sweet. Portion was
Amazing fish and chips! Best about. Travelled from Leeds on Tuesday for these! Keep doing what you are doing! Friendly staff too. I purchased the small fish and chips with added peas. (Great portion).
Super crispy fish and chips better than many. CJs is my new go to chippy in the area for also being dog friendly.
Quite possibly the best fish and chips I've ever had. If you're after a good seaside chippy just come here.
Highly recommend. Fantastic food. Fish was cooked perfectly. Lovely staff, and dog friendly. No veggie food, but they went out of their way to get a baked potato from next door for our veggie friend.
We were pleasantly surprised at how nice and well priced this place was. Fish chips bread curry sauce and a cup of tea £12 each to eat in. They could do with working on their chips a bit but the fish was one of the best we have had in years. Definitely will return.
Excellent fish & chips, nicely cooked, properly dark & crisp, light crunchy batter. Not greasy. Good mushy peas too. Reasonably priced. Friendly.
Best fish and chips I have EVER had!! Had fish and chip special, with side, bread and butter and drink. Staff really polite and friendly, even gave our dog a sausage. Cannot recommend enough.
First time using this place since moving to Filey back in November. I ate in and had the steak pie with chips and gravy. I have to say it was quite excellent!! And the price wasn’t too bad either! Best chips I’ve ever had!!
Absolutely gorgeous, tasty fish and Chips. So good we had them two evenings on the run. My husband had jumbo sausages & chips. The chips were the best we have ever had anywhere before. So good I forgot to take a photo.
Up there with one of the best fish and chips I've ever had! Staff are so lovely and its dog friendly. The best spot for lunch.
Beautiful fish and chips. Wonderful accomodating staff. Ridiculously fast service. I couldn't knock CJ's down to a 4* for this but I do think a premium tomato sauce on tables and a quality tartare sauce would be better than the mini packets. If you're cooking up the best fish and chips in the area I
Wonderful! Staff were lovely and coped when my sister couldn't decide on her drink. Food was absolutely gorgeous. Everyone on our table enjoyed the food. I ordered the Cornish Pasty and Chips and the Gravy too. You'd expect something that isn't regularly found in a chippy to be of lower quality but
Tried the Haddock and Chips £9.99 deal, which included bread and butter, with a choice of peas/beans/curry sauce plus a mug of tea. It was delicious. The haddock was fresh and large, the batter was light, crispy and dry, and the staff so very friendly and helpful. We will certainly be popping in ag
In my opinion, these are the best fish and chips in Filey, possibly even Yorkshire. If you like really squidgy soft chips, and a crispy batter then this style of fisheries is for you. Pricing is fairly high, but I feel the portion size is generous, and the quality is outstanding.
Good menu options and fish and chips to die for, we called in here quite a few times and were never disappointed with our meals. Great service very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.
