Been coming here for a year and this place does an awesome breakfast till 12pm and really does have the best coffee in the area.
Top tip though, if you're having a lattè or cappuccino with you breakfast, ask for a large. After a year of coming here, I forgot the vital word large, and received a half size glass cup to what I'm used to, but was charged the same standard £1 extra on top of the breakfast.

Lovely staff and food was fine. Smell from smoking customers outside wafting inside was unpleasant. We could have sat further inside and maybe avoided the smoke, but we were keeping an eye on our bike.
Frothies is a wonderful cafe in the heart of Filey. From the outside, it looks quite small but looks are deceiving and there is plenty of table space inside. The staff are friendly, the service is efficient and the food is delicious. I will definitely be going back again in the future! ☆☆☆☆☆
Called in here today for a sandwich and hot drink. Food delicious! Very friendly welcome and clean environment. Good quality food and great prices would definitely visit again.
Really nice gingerbread hot chocolate (a good range of hot chocolates are available including, regular, white, cinnamon, hazelnut, etc), had a chicken panini that was very nice, the side salad was substantial, reasonably priced.

Called into this small cafe , just off the main busy street. The staff were excellent,friendly but professional. Ser vice second to none. The freshly prepared food arrived . I had a doorstep bacon and sausage sandwich. The freshly cut bread was soft, filled with best bacon and sausage, full of flavour. If your passing do not hesitate, get in there.
Absolutely spot on, coffee was amazing and the doorstep sandwiches are worth the drive.

Excellent little coffee shop. Excellent value for money. Excellent staff - friendly, polite, nothing too much trouble. Everyone who visits Filey should visit here. Food fresh, coffee served hot, not just warm - definitely recommend - brilliant. Will definitely revisit Frothies when next in the area
called at frothies for a bite to eat before our journey home and it was beautiful. me and my husband ordered the filey doorstop with 4 ingredients, it was huge, the freashly sliced bread was the softest I've ever had, my 2 children also enjoyed there meals and there coffee is amazing you can definitely tell they use fresh quality beans. Will be definitely going back next time we are in filey. I would highly recommend you try this cafe.
