We ate at The Boat Shed on NYE as a family of 3. There was a great atmosphere, the pizzas, garlic bread & cocktails were delicious and the staff lovely. It's quickly becoming one of our favourite places to eat when visiting Filey.
Fantastic food & service. The pizzas and starters were delicious and the cocktails are the best in town. The staff are always bubbly and attentive. Can’t wait to come back!
Nice cocktail bar,great service,nice drinks and clean.
10 of use went to the Boast Shed. The staff were brilliant. The service was good despite the owner having to take charge of the kitchen.
Due to this and us being a table of ten there was some delay with the main courses. Although I have had much worse.
The last pizza they served was a little "Doughy".
This is where the owner and staff showed their true colours. We were informed by them that our drinks would not be charged to the bill.
It's very rare in my experience that restaurant identifies an issues and sorts it.
A clear example to other establishments on how to deal with an issues. To the owner and staff at the Boat shed well done on going above and beyond when dealing with an issue.
We will definitely be back.
PS the Amoretti was superb.
Great starters i think the meat pizzas would benefit by not having the chicken pieces cubed ( frozen )other than that it was delicious. The staff are very welcoming and friendly my wife and i enjoyed it the beer was cold and any gin you like was available
Works celebration of people new and old. Food was excellent, service was imecable and could not fault.

If I can give 6 stars I would. Possibly the best selection of pizza I ever get across and definitely one of the best pizzas I’ve tried in my life. Very friendly, attentive and prompt staff. Small and well organised place and two dog friendly tables outside (heaters and blankets available). Huge bonus for being DOG FRIENDLY. Definitely want to go back and try more pizzas. Highly recommend if you are visiting this area.

A cosy little place with friendly staff. There are quite a good selection of pizzas on offer for the mains. We ordered four and they all turned up in good time. Very tasty as well.
We were in the mood for pizza. The Boat Shed came up when we did a search for pizza. We reserved our table in advance online. A lovely small friendly establishment. We ordered a Veggie Volcano and a Spicy Chorizo. Thoroughly enjoyed them.
We had a cocktail, pizzas and olives. Food was delicious. There's a good choice of starters and pizzas on the menu and a specials board. The staff were really lovely as well. I'd recommend booking ahead because it gets busy. Filey has needed a place like this for a while. I'll definitely visit again when I'm back in Filey.
Visited the Boat Shed for my husbands 50th 12th Jan It was a party of 12 and the service/food/atmosphere was fantastic. 100% recommend, we will definitely go back the next time we are in Filey
We had an excellent meal and some cocktails. Really enjoyed the food, so much so that we went straight to a shop to pick some of the cheese up that we had....that's how much we enjoyed it! Pizzas also very fresh and tasty and the cocktails I could happily have drank all night.
Next time we are in Filey we would definitely return.
Service was very quick and friendly, leaving us feeling bad that we had no cash with us to tip :(

Lovely little dining place with, a minimal menu that suits the atmosphere and aura of the restaurant. Many different drinks are available including numerous cocktails, a massive gin selection and a classic shorts selection. Friendly staff too.

Lovely visit for food and a couple of drinks 😁 greeted upon entry and shown to our seats. I would recommend booking as it can get busy!
