Traditional tea room in a convenient location. Have visited a few times on visits to Filey mainly in the summer. Never disappointed with the quality of the food. Sometimes a lengthy wait to get a table as it’s extremely popular with locals and visitors. Definitely worth a visit.

Amazing! Being a bit of an expert on afternoon tea, I can honestly say this can’t be beaten. Beautifully fresh bread, plenty of filling, scones to die for and the freshest cakes your likely to fine. Well worth a visit whether you are near or far. Lovely service too.

A little gem amongst many hard working cafes but this one is a real find. The afternoon tea was made up of fresh meats in a choice of bread, 4 lovely cakes, fresh scones and choice of jams with cornish cream.... Washed down with Yorkshire tea or coffee.... Staff lovely

A lovely place for a lunch. This is a really fabulous tearoom in Filey. Lots of home made cakes and a wide selection of lunch bites on the menu. The waiting team is really friendly as well. Thank you all.

This cafe is a true gem especially if you have a coeliac member of the family. A separate gluten free menu and all at the same price as the normal menu, amazing! Food is lovely, staff are great and the cafe is warm and welcoming. We are locals and will definitely be back.

I used to come here a lot with my grandparents when we regularly visited Filey on family holidays. After nearly 13 years, we returned to Filey and were delighted to see The Lighthouse is still alive and kicking after all this time. The lovely Irish waitress sorted us out a gluten free menu without any fuss, so we were off to a great start right away. I ordered the chicken and bacon club sandwich and it was fantastic. I didn't need to eat until late in the evening after finishing that! My partner ordered a gluten free roast beef toastie and was most impressed. Also, our cappuccinos both came with a Lighthouse decoration, which takes quite a a bit of skill. Nice touch, girls 😎👌🏼 Long live The Lighthouse in Filey. We'll be back before you know it⚓️

It's not easy finding anywhere open for quality refreshments in Bridlington or Filey in March. Some days of the week It's virtually impossible, especially after 2pm! So it was a relief to find this charming tea room not only open at 3pm on a Monday, but with a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere, too! Lovely, cosy interior, good quality coffee and delicious homemade cakes (the ginger cake was so moreish). Ticks every box for a traditional tea room. Wonderful.

Service excellent and an excellent selection on the menu. Missed breakfast by half an hour so eggs Benedict with black pudding. A signature dish. The Lighthouse filled up rapidly approaching lunchtime. Would recommend.

What a lovely little place, we did wait some time for our food but we were not in any rush as were on holiday so we just drank coffee in the mean time. I have to say the breakfast was outstanding when it came so delicious totally worth the wait. 🍳🥓☕ The staff were so friendly as well and made us feel very comfortable and welcome. There is only 1 toilet which I always find frustrating probably because every single time i go someone tries to enter 😂 thanks guys for an awesome breakfast if we are ever back this way we'll pop in again for sure! 👌👍☺️
