We stopped for a breakfast over the Bank Holiday weekend and it was lovely, can definitely recommend the smashed avocado and poached eggs on toast. Coffees were also great and apparently the Decaf Flat White is one of the best in the area. We didn't try any cakes this time but they looked lovely so we'll definitely pop in again to try. Location is what really makes it unique though, great place to sit with a cuppa and watch the planes take off and land.

1st time I've been there. It was lovely. Had breakfast of eggs benedict - cooked perfectly. Beautiful day, we sat in the covered glass area. The views are stunning. There is a safe enclosed area where children can look safely at the planes. And dogs are welcome there too. Absolutely recommend it.

Only popped in for the first time for a coffee & hot chocolate (which was very tasty and quickly served) and for us to see if we were allowed to take of Guide Dog in Training Puppy in with us. (we did ask first before entry to make sure). The friendly staff we so helpful and made us feel really welcome especially, as this was their first "Guide Dog" request. We sat in the Conservatory area overlooking the Grass Airfield and were pleased to find that just outside there were dog bowls and a tap for drinking water. All really well thought out. Normally pet dogs of course would only be allowed to sit outside at the Picnic Tables on the well enclosed fenced off area with a separate access. Living locally, we shall be going back often and no doubt also have a Meal - Taking the young Guide Dog Pup with us of course so she too gains the fuller experience. Thanks to all the staff. We were impressed...

Visited this morning for breakfast and really enjoyed it. I had pancake stack with bacon and maple syrup and loved it, absolutely gorgeous. My son gad the Aviator breakfast which he thoroughly enjoyed. Service was good and reasonably priced and very clean. We sat in the conservatory room which was lovely and warm and able to see the planes taking off. Will definitely be going back.

Not your average bistro. Fantastic food, service and you get to see planes take off and land. If you're a aviation geek or just a big kid, get yourself there.

First time I've been to the Aviator and was pleasantly surprised. Good parking and great cafe with conservatory and outside decking with picnic tables. Clean and tidy with friendly staff and nice relaxing atmosphere. Just stopped in for coffee and cake, which was lovely. But some of the meals looked extremely tasty. Will definitely be back again when I've got more time on my hands.

We were recommended to visit this bistro and found it to be really excellent. It's in a great location next to a small working airfield, with some old planes to look around. You can eat inside or outside. The coffee is truly lovely and Eggs Benedict delicious. There is also a bar here. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Prices are competitive. Definitely worth a visit.

Very good πŸ‘ 😊 Atmos only loses a point for couple of noisy kids .. pointing this out as it's not the bistros fault so it's an observation at the time of visit rather than a critique of the establishment which was faultless πŸ‘ The dirty chips come in an army issue mess tin which was quaint but be prepared. The sweet chilli chicken wrap I had was perfectly cooked good size portion chips were hotter than the sun 🌞 πŸ‘Œ

We had a birthday family meal here, food was great staff were attentive. An amazing little retreat with a private Airport. You can sit and eat while you watch the aircraft fly in and out. Highly recommend. Highlight was the food and views the staff were also awesome.

This place is a hidden gem. The burgers are epic. The coffee is also excellent. What more do you need in life? I always upgrade the PB&J burger to a triple patty and it’s absolutely incredible. Get in my belly!! 100% recommended.

This is a lilte gem, we discovered. Set on a working airfield it s very friendly bistro. It allows dogs which is fantastic. The link road leading to it is smallish and can miss it easily if not paying full attention. The staff was really friendly and service is quick. The food was excellent and portions were generous. I struggled to finish my lunch . The surroundings are lovely with some old planes on display which customers can visit free of cost. I visited on a sunny day and some light aircrafts were taking flights which added to the charm of the place. There is ample parking on site.

This place was a lovely surprise to us as it isn't that well known, but it ought to be! The food was all prepared on the premises and was fantastic, probably the best burger I've ever had. Fabulous crispy chips (fries) and lovely fresh crunchy coleslaw. There were eight of us who all had something different and we all loved the food. I can't recommend it highly enough and more people need to get along there!

Enjoyed lunch here while meeting a friend who flew in (as you do) and took us up for little flights. Friendly, funny staff, delicious food (so much I couldn't manage cake!) lovely decor and a great ambience. We'll go back soon.
