Arrived here Friday stayed till Sunday we had breakfast 2 days there and dinner one of the nights can't fault it at all good was fantastic service was great so much better than the one where we live would recommend will be back
Just back tonight from a three night stay at the Ferndown Premier Inn, of which the Smugglers Haunt is attached. We had 2 evening meals which were great. Reccommend the Ribs highly and we had breakfast this morning which was delicious, nothing too much trouble for the staff, very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be returning �

Went to the Smugglers yesterday for my parent's 64th wedding anniversary where we were seated promptly by our waitress, who was very pleasant. A few of us made slight changes to our food orders, for example, I requested the triple cooked chips instead of the thin fries, but having said that, all our orders were served after no more than a 15-20 minute wait, which I think is perfectly acceptable - I think anyone who expects their food delivered quicker should try McDonald's next door! There were no complaints or problems with any of the food and we will definitely be returning.
On visiting the smugglers we were welcomed and seated promptly with friendly service and lovely food,no complaints, nice relaxing atmosphere and reasonable prices.
Wonderful food . Friendly helpful staff.Great for couples and families.
Had a Sunday lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it the lamb was cooked just right � service was good I'd happily go again

I have been staying at the premier inn on the same site as the smugglers and I haven’t got a bad thing to say about them. I’ve used them for breakfast where I had a full English. The staff are quick at serving as well as kind and polite. I have also been using them for dinner. I had the mixed grill which was an absolute delight. Nothing wrong with the food it was fantastic. Great service as well as a great atmosphere for everyone there. Will be back soon and can’t wait.

A typical Beefeater restaurant decor and atmosphere with decent quality food. Our visit was for the unlimited breakfast, which in itself was nice. The waitress was lovely and friendly but perhaps could have had some help as she was greeting people and seating them, taking orders, serving and topping up the continental buffet by herself. Overall, it is a good dining experience and value for money.
Visited Friday 23 September. Extremely good value for money. Most helpful & friendly staff. Danielle was as always outstanding. Nothing is too much trouble. Good meal, efficient in all ways. Highly recommend. Never have had a bad meal even when they are very busy. Full marks from me 100%.
Met up with friends here and it was our first time. The food was great and so was the service. It was lovely to sit in a restaurant and be able to talk to each other without overbearing background music. The waitress was very accommodating as some of the items that we were looking forward to on the sweet menu were unavailable. Would definitely recommend.
Staffs are nice and helpful.
Kids meal is great! There were many options, sadly pizza and corn was not available that day. Good price and low salt/sugar. Strawberry yogurt win a price from my son.
Adult lunch meal is fair. We had steak , gammon steak, sandwiches. Steak was below average tho. We ordered 3 medium rare, one was over cooked. All three has quite a lot tendon. Sandwich was good. Gammon steak was fair. The soup was great.
Suggestion: give more options on sides. Ideally not only fries and chips. May be corns, green veggies , mashed potato.
Thank you Trini for looking after us. You're awesome and chatty and helped me with my awkward dietary requirements too. Food was great. Us Trio of ladies would like to come back again on one of your tables please... 5 stars to Trini please manager.
Overall great experience, no buffet breakfast which I prefer.
One of the breakfast waitresses is a bit strange.
Evening meals was great.
Stayed for the week so experienced a few meals.
Think like most places have staffing issues so couldn't get a table when I finished work but staff helpful & polite.
Great place to eat,always value for money.... lovely staff....just this time my steak was a wee bit fatty and tough but it will not stop me from returning.

After a very late arrival at the hotel we had a most welcome breakfast with fantastic service provided by June and the team. They were really helpful and the food was excellent.
I have always loved Beefeater restaurants, but unfortunately, there are none locally where I live. So what a treat to find The Smugglers Haunt on my travels. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The steak was beautifully cooked and so flavoursome. Wish I lived nearer!

Came here for breakfast after a stay at the Premier Inn associated with it. We were served by June and she was lovely. Really friendly and very helpful to make sure that we had everything we needed.
Really lovely service at this place - this is the second time we’ve been, and have had a fantastic welcome each time. The lunch menu was great value and refillable soft drinks is always good. Very friendly service from Danielle and June.
After a day out travelling I decided to stop here for tea. For starters I had the Buttermilk chicken Goujons and for main the smothered chicken melt with chips, both were cooked well and tasted great. The best part was a staff member kindly granted my voucher so i was able to get some money off the bill.
Overall I had a good experience and wouldn't mind coming back again as there is quite a variety on the menu.
Front of house were very nice and pleasant, I stayed next door and had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. Very good value for money and Staff are lovely.would stay again. June at breakfast was a delight.
The fact this pub/restaurant is still around shows its always a good choice.

Good quick food . Amount just right.
Only downside was the kitchen had run out of 50% of the desert choices.
They attempted a random banana icecream& Churro thing. Not on the menu. It was different 😁
