A very pleasant pub with a limited but excellent menu, staff are polite attentive and professional. Found this place via a Google search for restaurants in the area and I’m not disappointed. Price point is mid range £25+ per person being a realistic price. Take care as adding courses and side adds u
Found this country pub near to where we were staying so dropped in on a Saturday night, sat outside with relaxing music being played, very dog friendly, couple of Thatchers 🍺 and a gammon steak with egg (that pleased Os 🐾 !) The good lady had a Spinach and Wild Mushroom Risotto. Prompt and efficient
Haven't been here for many years so when passing thought we would give it a try for lunch. The menu was more for evening then a light lunch. We decided to go for loaded fries. Being a veggie had parmesan and truffle oil which was ok. They are dog friendly but inside they need to be in the bar ar
Having heard all about the changes and reviews I popped along as a new face on my travels, the decor looked fine, nothing seemed out of place. The staff are welcoming and the man over the jump was pleasant and polite. The food arrived and they have guinness 0.0 , which is a boost for non drinkers.
Visited here as a group of 4 having travelled from the Midlands arrived bang on opening time.. decent selection of beers ales etc. Nicely kept pub with friendly staff. There is N outside area at the rear which was pleasant in the sunshine.
Have dined here twice now while on holiday in Cornwall. Dog friendly indoors which was very helpful. All staff very friendly and helpful and food is excellent. Able to swap chips for veg without it causing any problems. Good sized portions and well presented. Plenty of food options so could have hap
Food was very nice. Good selection on offer. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with a large easy access car park.
What a wonderful find. Lovely food and atmosphere. Smiley helpful staff. Hope to return here again if we're in the area.
We have eaten here several times, the food is good pub fare, it's a classic country pub that mainly focuses on pub food. There is a beer patio in the car park which is a great place to sit out on a sunny day.
Really nice pub with a modern take on a traditional style. Staff are really friendly, especially Sarah and Jill. The pub has a great choice of St Austell Ales and nice selection of larger and spirits. Foods perfect, cooked well, tastes great and served quickly. Highly recommend checking out the spec
While the quality of food in many pubs has gone downhill in the last year, the food here is absolutely excellent. A really interesting menu, reasonably priced and cooked to perfection. Not your bog standard pub grub by any means.
Great food, and brilliant drinks. Staff are very friendly. Definitely recommend coming here if you are in the area. The owner of the pub is a legend. Also, shoutout to Gill (Apologies if I have misspelt your name) and Sarah who are also legends!
Called in as was recommended by our holiday apartment, Tuesday night was food truck food . We weren’t disappointed, gorgeous tasty steak wrap , chilli burger and chips , such a lovely chap making it . Definitely recommend. Couple of lovely pints too. Very warm and friendly place
